Duke energy is the worst. I was on their budget plan and at the end of the year they hit me with a 1200$ bill right after or around Christmas. The reason was I went over my usage. Never received a phone call to change my budget. Also terrible customer service.

Get rid of the automatic meters, otherwise I’d start preparing for a class action lawsuit. There’s no way our 1500 sq ft house that’s set at 67 during the winter has a $400+ power bill with 70 kWs used per day. It’s not possible

How do you justify the insanely sky rocketing prices you charge people and don't give me this cold weather bullcrap. My bill is 40% higher from last yr in a home I've lived in for 23 years. That is a RIPOFF!!!!!!
