Enough really is enough. Last night Peter Mandelson sensationally resigned from the Labour Party — a party he has been part of for his entire life, with his family deeply involved too. So we must ask the obvious questions: 👉 Why did he resign now? 👉 Why wasn’t he...

The arrogance of Andy Burnham is absolutely staggering. He isn’t stepping into Makerfield because he suddenly cares about the people there or wants to fight for the area. He’s doing it to further his own political ambitions and position himself for a future run at Prime Minister. Makerfield deserves better than being treated as a stepping stone in somebody else’s career plan. And let’s not forget… Makerfield voted around 65% to leave the European Union. Yet Burnham has already been forced into his first major U-turn after previously backing closer ties with Europe again. Labour simply do not listen. They say one thing to get elected and another once they think they’re safe. This by-election is historic and people have a real chance to send a message loud and clear to Westminster. If you live in Makerfield, or know anybody who does, urge them to vote Reform UK. A vote for Labour is a vote for more of the same. A vote for Reform UK is a vote for real change, democracy and putting British people first. The political establishment are taking voters for granted yet again. Makerfield now has the chance to prove them wrong. #Makerfield #WakefieldByElection #ReformUK #VoteReformUK #VoteForChange #LabourFailing #Brexit #LeaveMeansLeave #TakeBackControl #BritishPolitics #GeneralElectionNow #EnoughIsEnough #PoliticalChange #RedWall #YorkshirePolitics #LabourUturn #AndyBurnham #ReformUKRising #CommonSensePolitics #BritainNeedsReform

Senate 'Republicans' are LYING to you. John Thune is avoiding a simple majority vote on the SAVE America Act because he does not actually want it to pass. He wants a failure vote to PROTECT the worst members of the Senate by giving them credit for a 'Yes' vote knowing it will fail because it needs 60 votes. This is worse than we thought... CEO of The Federalist Sean Davis: "We're actually getting a front row seat to a wonderful show that I like to call failure theater. It's been put on for years by Republicans." "They don't actually want to pass something. They don't really care what their own voters want. They care about delivering for K Street. So in this case, what they don't have the votes for is voter ID, voter security, election integrity, but they want to get credit for it, and the way they do that is they always set up these 60 vote thresholds, and those are great because you don't have 60 Republican senators, so they know it won't pass. They don't want it to pass, but it allows them, knowing that it's going to fail, to set up failure votes, which is what Thune wants to do. Thune does not want a majority vote because he doesn't have, regardless of the 50 co-sponsors on this, he doesn't have 50 votes." "So what he wants to do is set up a 60 vote threshold, knowing it will fail, so he can get every Republican, or nearly Republican, every Republican on board see Mitch McConnell will go on a 60 vote threshold, and he'll vote for it, because then he can go back and say, Well, I of course, I supported it. John Curtis will go and vote for that. But the second you make it a simple majority, which is all you actually need to proceed to the bill to get on a talking filibuster, at that point, you are exposing the most left wing, the most RINO members of the party, and that's actually who John Cornyn and John Thune are wanting to protect." "They're not trying to protect elections. They're trying to protect the worst members of their own party for any accountability for what they actually believe you."
