Eric Bischoff is dropping a BOMB regarding the most infamous firing in wrestling history. He openly laughs at the idea that he regrets cutting Stone Cold Steve Austin from WCW, claiming that if he hadn't pulled the trigger, the Stone Cold character would have NEVER existed. Bischoff argues that Vince McMahon did not create the persona. When Austin arrived in WWE, he was the Ringmaster, a gimmick Bischoff describes as sucking. It was only after hitting rock bottom, leaving WWE for a stint in ECW, that Austin found his voice and created the Stone Cold character himself. Bischoff insists the character was not handed down by corporate creative genius, but was born out of pure necessity and soul searching.
