Weinstein did not nuke anyone’s understanding of physics. He restated a long running personal pitch on Geometric Unity plus a sociology of science rant again. Geometric Unity has been circulating since at least 2013 and his 2021 draft notes still lack a clean, usable Lagrangian, a derivation of the observed particle spectrum, and quantitative predictions that beat existing data. Physicists who have actually read the material flagged basic mathematical problems with the “shiab” operator, anomalies, and missing steps. It is not peer reviewed as a finished theory and has produced no new experiment. Calling that a jailbreak is marketing pitch. He wants to be the face of the new TOE’ replacing the big bang…
