Decades after filming Heartbreak Ridge on these very grounds, Eastwood returned to screen his film Richard Jewell for our Marines and sailors. He didn't just show a movie he stayed late to sign autographs and show his genuine respect for the Corps. As he put it, he’s always been a fan of the Marines since he was a kid during WWII. A class act and a true supporter of those who serve.

A 29-year-old Newport man is back behind bars after police recovered wraps of crack cocaine and heroin hidden inside his underwear during an arrest. Curtis Lewis was stopped after officers on patrol in Bettws became suspicious of the car he was travelling in. Everyone is playing armchair psychologist about Conor's walkout and pointing out all the things that were different. I don't think it's any sort of conspiracy. To me, that's a guy who was questioning himself after such a long layoff against an incredibly tough Max Holloway. And yes, that's incredibly different from what we've come to expect from him, but he'd also never been through a five-year layoff before, at 37 years old, after multiple injuries. When Michael Jordan came back to play for the Wizards, he didn't make the playoffs. No one comes back after a layoff, pushing 40, and looks like their old self.
