“She is the only person to ever win album of the year at the Grammys four times. She has the second-most Billboard Hot 100 entries of all time (only Drake has more) and ties with Jay-Z for second-most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 (bested only by The Beatles). She is one of the most impressive touring artists of the past quarter-century, a status that has culminated with her global Eras Tour becoming the highest-grossing trek of all time in 2023, just halfway through its run, as it repeatedly set stadium attendance records and boosted local economies in its confetti-and-friendship-bracelet-strewn wake. She’s a billionaire, the only female artist to become one predominantly through music alone. She is the most famous woman in the world. ” — Billboard.

HORROR MOVIES OPEN BIG AND DIE. NOBODY TOLD OBSESSION. a $750,000 movie is tracking for the biggest 4th weekend any horror film has ever had. a month later it still refuses to fall. the run makes zero sense: - Week 1: $17.1M → Week 2: $23.9M (+39%) → Week 3: $26.4M. climbed two weekends in a row - first non-holiday movie to do that since E.T. in 1982. 44-year record - now past $126M domestic, $171M worldwide. at $200M, that's 266x its budget — highest-grossing Focus Features movie in history - biggest horror movie of 2026 at the domestic box office, past Scream 7 made in 20 days. directed by a 26-year-old YouTuber. his first film. Hollywood keeps writing $200M checks for tentpoles and praying something sticks. this kid just embarrassed the entire industry with a camera and an audience he built himself.

.Harvey Levin says details in the ransom note suggest Nancy may be nearby, pointing to language and a tip sent to a local Tucson news station as signs the sender is watching from within the area: “I’ve read that letter 20 times since last night. Based on everything that’s happening, I am increasingly believing that if this letter is legit, Nancy is not that far away from Tucson. The way it’s written, it says bring her back to Tucson, so it doesn’t sound like she’s in Tucson proper, but there is some connection this person has with the Tucson community. And KOLD, the outlet that got the second letter today, is a local station. They’ve been covering this a lot, and what I’m wondering is, if they are sending this to a local station that is really involved in this, is it someone who is watching this local station? And if they are watching that local station, they’re probably in some radius where that station broadcasts.”

The 2026 box office race has become a lot more interesting than I expected. Spider-Man has already past $1.05B worldwide after only six days in theaters. That's the second-fastest any movie has reached the billion-dollar mark. Only Endgame got there sooner. A $360M domestic opening is a massive head start, and people are already talking about a run past $2B. Then there's The Odyssey. It's closing in on $1B worldwide after opening two weeks earlier and has held up far better than most people expected. For an R-rated film that's almost three hours long, those numbers are impressive. 1win has turned this race into a prediction market. You can pick the movie you think will finish 2026 as the highest-grossing film of the year. How to join ➫ Open the link below, or head to 1win → Markets → Highest-Grossing Movie of 2026 ➫ Sign in or create an account ➫ Fund your account if needed ➫ Make your pick I'm going with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It already has a big lead, and I think that lead only grows from here. The Odyssey has had an incredible run, but Spider-Man looks like it's on track for an even bigger finish. I'm backing Spider-Man: Brand New Day. ➥

Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World has become one of Hollywood’s most consequential films - at least in the last decade or so. I think this had the potential to be an all-time great Ridley film but, as we all know, it was totally derailed by issues related to Kevin Spacey. Ridley shot the entire film with Spacey & early reports were that Spacey delivered an Oscar-caliber performance. In other words, Spacey was the film’s heartbeat. In the wake of news breaking around horrendous allegations against Spacey, Ridley was forced to pivot with nearly no time. That led Ridley to one of my favorite actors in the history of mankind…Christopher Plummer. One door closes & another opens. Plummer, at 88, became the oldest actor ever nominated for an Oscar. All of which is to say that Plummer stepped into this film with as much grace as anyone in the situation could possibly manage - and to do it at nearly 90? Plummer must’ve thought he had seen it all, at least until this point. But while Plummer earned an Oscar nomination, this film suffered from the reshoots & recasting. It’s a tall task for any film to reshoot like this film had to but Ridley tried taking it all in stride. On the eve of a new Ridley Scott film, it’s worth revisiting one of the more interesting chapters in his career.

in ‘TAXI DRIVER’ (1976) or ‘JOKER’ (2019) when Travis Bickle or Arthur Fleck get access to a gun for the first time the entire course of those films changes because now you’re already fearing a weapon as dangerous as a pistol got into the wrong hands. this scene in ‘JAGADAM’ (2007) has almost the same psychological effect. up until this scene in the film, it’s one thing to see a group of young guys talking about violence and acting rowdy, but the moment a gun genuinely shows up in their hands Sukumar creates this insane psychological shift for us that makes us fear for of and for them. insane directing and glorious visuals by Rathnavelu and editing by Sreekar Prasad.

A trader in Accra has stated that they are not prepared to heed GUTA's call to reduce the prices of goods. They explained that they had already converted their cedis to dollars before the local currency began to appreciate. As a result, they are urging the public to be patient, noting that price reductions can only be expected after they sell off their current stock and make new purchases at the improved exchange rate.

Márta Mészáros’s "Adoption" (1975) became the first Hungarian film to compete at the Berlin Film Festival in 1975. It was also the first movie directed by a woman filmmaker to win the Golden Bear, the festival's top honour. In 2019, "Adoption" returned to Berlin to screen in the Berlinale Classics program, and Mészáros was interviewed. She said, “With the Golden Bear, I had become a film director, not a woman who makes films. Fassbinder accepted me, and many others accepted me—Godard and the others. I entered the club not as a woman, but as a filmmaker.” She recalled that Agnès Varda, told her, "‘You’ve won now, the next time I will.’ She’s a good friend, I love her. She has a good life because she lives in a good country. See, France loves women. Hungary hates them!" A 20-YEAR-OLD JUST BROKE EVERY RECORD A24 HAS. a movie based on a YouTube creepypasta just had the biggest opening in A24's history. Backrooms made $81.5M in the US and $118M worldwide in three days - more than triple A24's old record. the director is 20 years old. - Kane Parsons made the original "Backrooms" as a viral YouTube short in 2022, at 16 - he's now the youngest filmmaker ever to have the #1 movie in America, breaking a record that stood since 2012 - biggest opening ever for an original horror film AND for any first-time director - made for ~$10M. already hugely profitable - 86% of the audience is under 35 and he wasn't alone. the same weekend, Obsession ($750K budget) climbed for a third straight weekend - and both films outsold a $165M Star Wars movie. two filmmakers in their twenties, who started on YouTube, just beat Lucasfilm with movies that cost a fraction of its budget. the gatekeepers spent decades deciding who gets to make a movie. a 20-year-old just uploaded his way past all of them.

The bullish crossover printed yesterday. Since then Bitcoin has taken the $77,000 area and is still holding it. In September, Bitcoin could see $82,000, then dump toward $73,000–$74,300, pump into the high $80k's around $86–87k, dump again back to $68–69k into October, and reach the high $90k's in November. If we repeat the pattern perfectly by percentage, $100k+ could be hit as well, but I do not believe it. $90k+ is realistic! If this pattern plays out, Bitcoin will fall from a negative December into January. I expect the cross of the RCI3L Sinus indicator in January. After that, Bitcoin continues the run toward a new all-time high in 2027. After the 2016 halving, the time until the indicator crossed was 1,036 days. After the 2020 halving, it was 994 days. I expect the cross by January, followed by an all-time high in 2027. As I wrote in a thread a few days ago: “ As long as the $77,000 level holds, I expect the $80k range to be reached again before a move toward $72,000–$75,000. ” I also publicly called the local top at $82k in May and warned of a final crash into August. ✅ 750D after halving = downtrend, local top was around 82k+ ✅ shorted it public 🎯 You have to watch the end of the video to understand what I am trying to explain with the RCI3L Sinus. bitcoin:native
