It's just a human interface device for a synth. If you are good at generating input using that particular interface (as opposed to a keyboard), why not?

My uncle is a rich scientist polymath and multi instrumentalist and he got me something like this but it’s white and real fancy . Looks less like a guitar than this one and more Star Wars. I googled it , the thing was like 400 bucks. I have no clue how to use it,or desire too lol

If it was a midi controller, I’d might give it a shot but they want way too much for everything that thing can’t do.

I like where the idea is going, but not where it is now. Integrate something like this into a more traditional form factor and remove the built in speaker and it could be a useful creative tool. Imagine this through effects pedal boards.
