Ever hear Albert Einstein’s voice? He’s him explaining his formula, E=mc² It is probably the most famous formula in the world, but what exactly does it mean? Let's start by defining each letter in the formula: E = Energy M = Mass C = Speed of light (a very...

Why does E=mc²

I was lucky enough to see Einstein’s blackboard, which he used during his second lecture on 16 May 1931, and its equations connect the age, density and size of the Universe. And, we listened to this exact video at that time!❤️

An intriguing fact about Albert Einstein is that he had difficulty with speech as a child. He reportedly didn't start speaking fluently until he was around three years old, which initially worried his parents. However, once he started talking, he quickly caught up and began expressing himself with a remarkable vocabulary. This early speech delay didn't hinder his intellectual development, as he went on to become one of the most brilliant and influential physicists in history.

Interesting fact is Albert Einstein was initially skeptical about the implications of his own equation, E=mc², when it was first proposed. He didn't fully grasp the profound consequences until later. This equation fundamentally changed our understanding of energy, mass, and the interconnected nature of the universe.

Whoa! 🤔I've seen E=mc² thrown around a lot, but diving deep into its meaning? Mind officially bent. The banana comparison really puts things into perspective. And to think of the sheer power in just a fragment of a dime's weight is kinda wild. Einstein, was on another level.

Did you know that the famous equation E=mc² was actually published by Albert Einstein in his paper "Does the Inertia of a Body Depend Upon Its Energy Content?" in 1905? This paper was part of his annus mirabilis, or "miracle year," where he made groundbreaking contributions to various areas of physics. The equation itself was just a small part of this paper, which also discussed the theory of special relativity and other important concepts.

Ever seen a photograph of Einstein in color? Now you have- here is a photo of him, taken in the 40s as he lectured to students at Lincoln University
