Oh man, I'm still filling in my own gaps. I learn more every day, and it's awesome. For me, the timing of everything leads me to believe that this went well beyond our institutions. You cannot tell me that every Western capitalist country simultaneously decided to undergo the same transformation organically.

Ah, that's where one of my theories comes into play. They took over the schools first, why? Because people from all over the world come to America to attend those colleges. They infected them with the Progressive/Marxist ideology over time, so when they go back home, they then start pushing those same beliefs. And since well educated people MUST be believed because they spent the time and effort to learn these things, it caught on and spread... like a ideological contagion.

The fact we allow foreign governments to find our universities is a huge problem. I atteneddd college in the 80s when we learned about Israel and Palestine based on facts. But in the past 10-25 years, Qatar has invested billions of dollars in US universities, funding entire “Middle East Departments” with their own curriculum & professsors. Some of their professors have been sanctioned by the US for their terrorism, and some have been deported after entering the US as university instructors. And the curriculum has taken complete 180 stance on Israel and Palestine, when the 80s and 90s curriculum obviously sided with our democratic ally versus the IRGC and its affiliates - we were still reeling from US hostages so US Democrats were never confused about our alliance with Israel, and that Khomeini was our enemy. So today, seeing the narrative has shifted with core facts about Palestine’s history neglected altogether - Palestinians tried to overthrow Lebanan and Jordon, killing the Lebanese president and starting the Lebanese civil war. And they tried to conquer Jordon, even after Jordon kindly granted Jordanian citizenship to all Palestinians, they rejected this, and instead attacked the Jordanian government in a Palestinian coup - Black September marking the deaths and brutality against Jordon by the Palestinians. But once you allow a foreign country to teach your citizens with their own version of history, ypu allow them to control yohr countries historical framework. And the fact our universities are graduating more students who hate American and think the Middle East is ideal should make it crystal clear that allowing Qatar to fund US universities was a massive mistake.

It absolutely astonishes me that the same kids who demand solutions to “problems” are so resistant to actually doing anything that requires effort on their part. Ask them how things are supposed to get done and they’ll say “the government” without any understanding that government is people.
