Building a basic vault is better than going through the tutorials, It covers all the basics you need. you need to learn how solana works, like account model, transaction the fundamentals of solana blockchain

yes but I would recommend conceptually understanding all core concepts (PDAs, account model, CPIs, etc) before jumping into code. So I always start my series/courses out with videos like this then the first program is a CRUD app then the next is an escrow/vault program 😄

thanks for the breakdown. is there a reason why PDAs aren't being used and pushed for agent wallets?

mainly because PDAs can’t independently sign txs. they’re great for program-controlled custody/permissions, but the agent still needs some signer to actually initiate transactions

Same idea keeps our Terminal balances accurate without a middleman database either 🔮

So no back end just on chain storage via accounts and PDAs.

PDAs hold a maximum 10mb of data which is ~ 2 million words (text) So have to find work around solutions for larger data storage. But perfect for the apps I am building.
