Definitely only works with a small percentage of kittens/cats. Every cat is drastically different from the next.

Very bad advice. Cat parents know if a cat tolerates being held like this, fine, but if not DON’T FORCE IT. It can be hard on their stomachs to be flipped. If they’re young enough burp them if they need it but never cradled like this. They’ll eat, poop, play, & sleep. Simple as.

Cruel and unusual. An apparently terrified kitten is slapped into submission (check her eyes). No telling how long she’s punished for being awake lasted until the final shot of this sweet little cat passing out. No way to build trust and affection, Cats dislike being held like an infant. Makes them feel vulnerable and restricted, fights their life-saving instinct to land on their feet.

I wish I had known that trick 11 years ago, my girl wouldn't calm down at all until she was a year old!
