Let’s start with MPs’ allowances

Every pound wasted on you because you can't be bothered to commute is a pound that could improve a life.

Every £ spent on someone who needs support isn’t “wasted”… it’s the purpose of a social security system. And 4 million sickness-benefit claimants aren’t 4 million people who “don’t need support”. Demonising us disabled people isn’t reform; it’s scapegoating.

Sickness benefit actually skyrocketed under the tories. A lot of people in work got ill and unable to return to work because of the ridiculously long NHS waiting list that the tories caused. A lot of these untreated workers eventually resulted to claiming benefits. OWN IT.
