Excited to share that MagicPath is now available as an official plugin for Codex, in collaboration with OpenAI! It's incredibly easy to give Codex an infinite multiplayer canvas where it can design, build, and iterate with you.

Codex can import UI from your repository into MagicPath, understand its components and design system, and recreate it as an editable, interactive experience on the canvas. Here is our entire left-side panel with ALL the working functionality.

For the best workflow, open MagicPath in the Codex browser, sign in, and open your project. Codex will detect it, or you can tell it the project name.

With the @MagicPathAI plugin, Codex can: Create and edit interactive UI Open MagicPath directly in the Codex browser Find any design created by you or your teammates Import from your repository Work with your design system Generate and import images Bring the result back into production code And so much more!

Install MagicPath from the Codex plugin directory and start building in chat.

Lastly, we’re excited to work with @OpenAI to define a new kind of experience inside the Codex browser. We believe agentic applications will become the primary surface where software is built and used. Excited for @MagicPathAI to help pave the way.

How is this different than which is free?

The main difference from Pencil and other similar products is that the MagicPath canvas lives in the cloud, so you can make requests from any agent without the app even needing to be open, no other of these tools can do that. Plus, you get a live shareable link right away, and we support multiplayer between humans and agents. And things are interactive not static mocks.
