2-3 days of exercise offers notable benefits for brain function and metabolism, but heart needs more regular activity. 4-5 days of exercise per week appears to be the sweet spot for keeping the heart youthful, helping prevent tissue shrinkage and stiffness that come with aging. Regular exercise isn’t just about fitness; it maintains the heart’s structural strength and health. Frequent exercise keeps the heart flexible, elastic, and resilient. It's not just about occasional intense workouts, but about creating a sustained pattern of movement throughout one's life.

Sounds like I’ve gotta get my days in the gym up to four at least!

I follow @DYNutrition (Dorian Yates) routine. 4 days a week of resistance training 3 days a week (at least) of some form of cardio on days I'm not lifting weights, usually jump rope. 6 days a week was too much to adhere to, so the former is perfect for me. Simple & effective

What counts as a 'day of exercise'?

Astonishing to see coworkers sit in their desk and vehicle for 10 hours a day
