Calling superposition “many agents exploring paths” is like calling a Fourier transform “many musicians playing at once”. Comforting metaphor, zero explanatory power.

this is wrong.. funny enough this is not how qc works.

Nice metaphor, but a quantum computer does not really work by trying every path one by one at the same time. It opens many possibilities first, then suppresses the wrong ones and brings the path leading to the right answer into focus.

That’s just parallel processing. It has nothing to do with “quantum” anything. Oh, I just checked location. I’m sorry, little buddy. Sure, that’s quantum. Good job.

So all programmers who use multiple threads are quantum programmers? Nice.

We've had programs and algorithms that behave like this for decades...this isn't an explanation on how quantum computing works, this is a batched randomization engine.

You can just spin up multiple threads in a classical computer and traverse multiple paths at once. Have to disagree with the quantum claim.

You are describing "paralelism" not fair quantum supperposition. If it were just a matter of "agents" exploring, you could just look at the maze and see which agent found the exit. In a quantum system, if you "look" (measure) while the search is happening, the superposition collapses.

Core idea of super dense coding

Albert Valery Smith profil fotoğrafı

I do not see any explanation here. I only see parallel computation. Superposition is "Until you do nothing you have the potential of all of the possibilities. When you start doing one possibility is chosen (wave equation collapsing)". It may always be the wrong possibility.

There are 2 things that are really interesting; 1. All roads take place in a superposition independent of the momentary. 2. The way out erases all other roads from reality as if it never happened. So what we see is an instantly solved puzzle..

Quantum computers won't speed up AI — QC solves optimization and factoring, not matrix multiplication. Transformer inference is dense linear algebra. Completely different workloads. Great explainer video but the 'QC will supercharge AI' take is a myth worth killing.

Classical computers process bits. Quantum computers explore probabilities. The real impact isn’t faster computation, it’s solving problems that were previously impossible. When quantum meets AI, entire industries will be redesigned.

Reisender profil fotoğrafı
Reisender7 ay önce

Sorry but this visualization is misleading: QC is not just parallel computing (what you are showing). QCs don‘t need to „visit“ every state due entanglement, which is where speed-up comes from. Secondly, it‘s highly probabilistic, several measurements converge towards solutions.

Venkatesh profil fotoğrafı
Venkatesh7 ay önce

Okay bro

Reisender profil fotoğrafı
Reisender7 ay önce

You could try to visualize entanglement (which is, admittedly, tricky) with shows explicit and implicit compute paths and then use several „flashes“ that show solutions (I.e. „measurements“) leaving a blur that converges towards the optimal solution.

Not really accurate. This comparison is more like single-thread vs multi-thread. Quantum computing is more about calculating statistics in a single pass, rather than using multiple threads to estimate them.

all bullshit and not real, your video is just a wishful thinking of how scientist want it to work. till this day no practical quantum computing exist, just only flipping bits in a basement burning insane amount of energy.

why is called quantum?

Venkatesh profil fotoğrafı
Venkatesh7 ay önce

@grok answer

Grok profil fotoğrafı
Grok7 ay önce

Quantum computers are called "quantum" because they operate on the principles of quantum mechanics—the physics of tiny particles like atoms and electrons. "Quantum" (from Latin for "how much") refers to discrete packets of energy/matter. Unlike classical bits (strict 0 or 1), they use qubits in superposition (both 0 and 1 at once) and entanglement for parallel processing. That's why the name! 🚀
