After we successfully called on the Federal Government and the Federal Ministry of Education to reconsider the increase in WAEC and NECO examination fees, another concerning issue has emerged. The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) has introduced a sudden increase in the registration fee for foreign-trained medical graduates. Foreign-trained doctors in Nigeria are now facing an unexpected financial burden just weeks before their induction. On Friday, the MDCN informed successful foreign-trained medical graduates via email that the registration fee would be ₦250,000, plus ₦15,000 for insurance, bringing the total to ₦265,000. However, on the 13th, another email was sent asking recipients to disregard the previous one. The registration fee had been increased to ₦400,000, with ₦15,000 for insurance, making the new total ₦415,000—a ₦150,000 increase announced less than two weeks before induction. This is the reality currently facing foreign-trained medical graduates in Nigeria. Where does the MDCN expect these 238 newly qualified doctors to find ₦415,000 within such a short period just to obtain their practising licences? I am calling on the Federal Ministry of Health, the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), and the Federal Government of Nigeria to urgently reconsider this decision. This policy will not strengthen Nigeria’s healthcare system. Nigeria is already experiencing a severe shortage of medical doctors, with fewer than 55,000 doctors serving a population of over 220 million people. The government should consider subsidising this registration fee instead of placing an additional financial burden on young doctors who are ready to serve the nation. You can't reject peace, choose hostility, and still expect the world to see you as the victim. The incident began when an officer pulls 22 year old India Mixon over after running her license plate and finding that her registration/license is suspended. When the officer approaches her vehicle, Mixon immediately becomes defensive, arguing that she just sent out a check to resolve the issue. The officer repeatedly asks to see her driver's license and proof of insurance, explaining that he is conducting a traffic stop and needs to identify her. Mixon refuses to cooperate or hand over her ID, claiming she does not have to produce it, and instead focuses on calling her case manager on her phone. ​As Mixon continues to refuse to identify herself, the officer warns her that she will be arrested if she does not cooperate. She is seen repeatedly reaching around the interior of her car, despite multiple commands from the officer to stop. After several minutes of non-compliance, the officer orders her out of the vehicle. When she refuses to step out, the officer opens the car door and physically removes her to place her in handcuffs. Mixon resists and accuses the officers of targeting her because of her race. Additional officers arrive on the scene to assist. Mixon becomes increasingly hysterical, claims that she is homeless and that all of her belongings are inside the vehicle, which is being prepared for towing due to the suspended registration. Mixon as$aults one of the officers and winds up having a "spit hood" secured over her head. In the end, she is charged with driving under suspension, simple assault, and as$ault on a police officer and her car was towed.

The GOP establishment does NOT approve of this message & it’s pathetic I’m the only candidate with the stones to say it: The climate change agenda is a hoax & it’s hurting farmers in Iowa. Here’s how: the U.S. government enacted crony subsidies to reward those who build CO₂ pipelines across the Midwest to bury CO₂ in the ground in North Dakota (which is senseless for many reasons, including the fact that crops require CO₂). Here’s the bigger problem: most farmers don’t want the CO₂ pipeline on their land. There are real hazards & many farmers don’t want to sell their land either. But the GOP Establishment in Iowa has enacted eminent domain to *seize* these farmers’ land, which is a gross violation of their property rights. Every political consultant tells you to stay away from the CO₂ pipeline issue because it makes the likes of Governor Kim Reynolds look horrible for supporting it. Well, I refuse to be controlled. We’ll go deep on this on Friday at 12pm in Des Moines, with the Free Soil Coalition. PREDICTION: soon you will see the other presidential candidates who have tiptoed around this issue reluctantly adopt my stance, including even the one whom Reynolds endorsed. Can you see the men climbing trees and being perched on them with a mobile phone in their hand? These men aren’t climbing trees for fun, this has been their daily ritual for the past few months. This video is from Penchikalpet Mandal, Asifabad District, Telangana The people in this video climbing trees are local farmers. Telangana Congress government decided to go all fancy with fertilizer supply and launched an app to book the same. Most farmers don’t have smart phones, and those who do also don’t know how to use an app. People in many villages are taking help of youngsters and are also buying cheaper smart phones just to book urea!! More than 90 percent of farmers in the country cannot afford smart phones and are not well versed with the technology - a very important detail the smartest policy makers in the government decided to ignore. These farmers perched on the trees - their problem is a lot more complicated. They have no network connectivity because they live in tribal areas. Every morning it is now a ritual to find the last point of connectivity and climb the highest tree for any signal. Also, this is not one village problem. Many villages in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Nagarkurnool have severe signal connectivity issues. It is important to note that according to the report of Department of Telecommunications (DoT) there are at least 303 villages in Telangana which have mobile phone towers! Meaning zero mobile network access. And they all now cannot get urea or have to depend on the mercy of the local officers even to book a bag of urea. These are the farmers that need maximum support from the government. But this government has denied them the basics right to life and dignity to produce their own food, all because of their half-brained policies. PS: Do you know why the Congress government started this whole Urea Booking App suddenly? In the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, I know many Jamaicans are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally, mentally, and physically. The loss, the uncertainty, and the effort to begin again can take a heavy toll. I want to remind everyone, it’s okay to not feel okay. Reach out for support, talk to someone you trust, and take care of your mental well-being as we work together to rebuild. The Ministry of Health and Wellness, under Minister Tufton’s leadership, continues to strengthen this area by training more mental health professionals and expanding access to services. It will take time to reach the numbers we need, but the commitment is firm. At the same time, we must not overlook one of Jamaica’s greatest strengths, community. In times past, before we had the language to describe “mental health,” it was the power of community that kept us grounded. Today, that same unity and care for one another are just as important. Let us continue to check in on our neighbours, support those who are struggling, and rebuild, not only our homes but also our sense of hope and togetherness.

The patient (in orange left her sickbed to go for a short call) and then: An unidentified individual was able to: * Enter the hospital without proper registration * Bypass security and reception protocols * Access a private patient ward without authorization * Steal a patient's personal property (iPhone 16 Pro Max) This raises serious questions about patient safety and security procedures within the facility. Hospitals are meant to be safe environments, especially for patients who are already in a vulnerable condition. The most troubling part is the lack of response and assistance from the hospital following the incident. No meaningful support, accountability, or clear explanation has been provided so far. 1. How is it possible for an unregistered individual to freely access patient areas? 2. What security measures are actually in place to protect patients and their belongings? 3.
