few weeks ago someone tweeted "vibe coding is like factorio for devs" so i decided to make a game interface for controlling agents

the dota scenario is gonna go crazy 5v5 vibe coding

lol imagine if this boosts my productivity by 20x mom in the past: STOP GAMING ALL DAY YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT me in my 30s: gaming all day and making it work work ⛏️

what if i make this multiplayer so we see eachother's towns and how much activity ppl have 🤔 😂

i have a name guys... slopcraft

I love this so much, I've been thinking a ton about new visual metaphors for agent workflows... As I spin up more and more background jobs I feel a need for something that feels physical, tangible

VibeCity™️ not sure if i should dig deeper in this idea..

Vibe city 2000 do itttttt

i wish that i built more in public instead of sending shit privately to @Zeko369 and waiting to perfect something before tweeting about it 2 weeks from concept to tweet....

There needs to be a new term, not vibe coding, but like ADHD-maxing-vibe-engineering

yes

@robertkp13 this is our future

Mate this is fucking genius. I would “play” the hell out of this. It’d be so good to model repos as resources like a lake or mine or something so factories could just pick out issues from them (obviously decrease in size as resources reduce)

yeah my mind is buzzing with ideas but it's like 39535th side project i've created this month and it's hard to keep up (ironically this would be the one that would help me push the other projects) also mini towns can die down if u ignore them, and bugs can crawl coming from sentry, issues, etc

haha let’s go

This might unlock our evolution from the current CLI phase.

This is how you will be remembered for

I can tell you've never played factorio 😂 nice approach

never heard of it till this year lol

RPG inspired UI concept...

I did something similar with claude agent sdk a few days ago and tbh I wasn’t expecting so much engagement I should probably revisit it and open source it tbh. there’s definitely something here But yeah the idea adhd always striking

Bro be serious, where are zerglings

this needs to be in schools asappp

soon i just need a name... vibecity? vibecraft?

vibecraft is so sick bro

I liked the first concept you showed, you really feel like a vibe coding manager and it would be fun to manage your projects in this way. Who has a few mil to spare to make this real? 👀

i just need 1k in tokens and it's gg

Really good concept!

Nice concept man

This looks like so much fun! Way better then the cli!

100%

Damn, I read 'future milf', instead of feature mill. 💀

This is really so cool. I'm curious to know how practical it is to use, but the concept is killer.

The reason I can't play those builder games is that it's all just metaphor for Real Work, so why not spend time doing Real Work. You may have found the solution.

this is awesome

I like the idea to visualize agents as a game UI!

I was thinking about this too esp with Gas Town. Looks so cool.

it WORKS so dope actually i just made it functional :D i hope to have a demo soon

I can’t wait to finally become a professional RuneScape player

this is such a cool idea but why involving crypto?

crypto won't be involved in the game at all it will be free. crypto bros just want to fund the dev of it

gotcha, pretty cool then ahah your lazer eyes through me off

This is a cool idea. Imagining connecting the houses as agents and sub-agents and then as the agent sends work to the subagent we see the “people” or “bits” move back and forth. Visualize how full the context is or how many tokens have been used be each agent and provide ways to empty or reset them…this could be fun.

yeah there are like a 353125893 ways to visualize vibe coding.. i need to explore more

This is one of the most fun I’ve come across

This would also be cool for Kubernetes or server management in general where you can see if services are overheating or being under utilized. Would help because visually you could have different towns and tilesets, easier to remember.

@TendiesOfWisdom

Nice!! This was almost exactly what was in my head when I saw that post. So sick brother
