was told to hold in 2020 too

This is the other side of the K-shaped economy. Asset owners have benefited enormously from rising markets and asset values. For many households without significant assets, higher everyday costs are moving faster than their sense of financial security.

That's a tough situation for so many families right now. It's a challenging economic climate for sure.

The strange part is that someone can still look middle class on paper while feeling financially fragile every month

I'm feeling the pinch too, gotta be more mindful of my daily expenses and find ways to save on gas and groceries!.

The squeeze is real for a lot of households, but a big part of the “shrinking middle class” story is people moving up into upper-middle, not just falling down. Housing, healthcare, and college costs rose a lot faster than the rest of the CPI, so even higher nominal incomes still feel tight.

Once the government makes the money worthless it is hard for working people to keep up. Stimulus for the kill…

And shills say we don't need hikes smh

Instead of reducing our savings, we should look for changes that can lower the impact of higher cost of living, and try to earn extra income.
