The middle class is typically defined as households that earn between 2/3 and double the household median income. But in many categories, consumers have seen costs rising more slowly. Here's why life is becoming unaffordable for middle-class Americans:

The middle class is being sandwiched between the rich class and the poor class. The middle class is caught between rising costs and rising taxes. For the middle class, this Budget had one message. Carry on as you were. In Parliament, I pointed out that there was no revision in income tax slabs and no increase in standard deduction, despite stagnant salaries and inflation at 6.8%. Thomas Sowell on Paul Krugman’s favorite inequality talking point. Krugman claimed that between 1979 and 2005, median household income rose only 13 percent while the top 0.1 percent rose nearly 300 percent. America, he said, is no longer a middle-class society. Sowell’s response is immediate: “All I have to hear is the word household income, and I know we’re not serious.” Households are not the same size. The bottom 20 percent contain 39 million people. The top 20 percent contain 64 million. Households have been getting smaller over time. When a household drops from three working adults to two and still earns the same total money, that is not stagnation — it is a 50 percent rise in per capita income. Per capita income always means one person. Household income is a political metric, not an economic one.

This is happening because the whole idea of being middle class comfort and basic ownership rights are being snuffed out, on purpose, as part of Agenda 2030. “You will own nothing, and you will be happy.” Part of the “Great Reset” is to create a MASSIVE lower class, who are struggling so much to survive, that they will beg the Government for help, especially once AI or robots inevitably replaces their job. The LAST thing they want is for you to be self-sufficient, and that is why Elon Musk said in the next 10 years that money won’t matter anymore. For those who cant make it on there own, Universal Basic Income will ensure that the vast majority of Americans are permanently indentured slaves of the system, and permanently lower class.
