While she claims that "if you're in the middle class, you get nothing," here are a few of the tax cuts included in the bill: -Increase in the standard deduction -Making the expiring child tax credit permanent -Making the $750,000 principal limit for the home mortgage interest deduction permanent. -No tax on tips -No tax on overtime -Auto loan interest on American made cars becomes tax deductible. -& More Meanwhile in Maine, Democrats have just passed a budget that includes a slew of regressive tax increases targeting the poorest Mainers.
