Fired up my Time Machine for first time in ages and did some retro coding on my LittleBigPlanet C64 project - added some UI and scoring for bubble collection multiplier, and got some basic sound effects working. Also had a go at making Sid Tune of a Gorrilaz tune... show more

Still on? Please don't leave this project! It's amazing how it looks, and how it MOVES!!!

Haha, this is great! Definitely needs a ten minute loading screen full of trippy colours while the datasette is loading, though 😉 Next stop: Dreams on C64? 😂

Incredible! There's something kind of refreshing about the lack of scrolling: not knowing what the next screen will hold; progression being described by which distinct screen you made it to.

Very impressive to see this on a C64. You're making really good progress. I'm excited to see where this leads. 😉

Love it! I might have to dig out my C64 if you ever release this.

More time travelling dev adventures with my C64 LittleBigPlanet project - Added text bubbles (c64 nerds might notice how they overlap the border, am pleased with that!) and tinkered with sound some more, still fumbling around in Goat Tracker but feel I am slowly making progress with it, attempted a re-hash of 'An English Country Garden'... #c64 #LBP #Sackboy #Retro

More C64 Retro Coding - Time to start adding some meanies - made a Bumble Bee (possibly too cute to be a meanie!) , just got it to follow player atm as a test, next step will be to add flight path patterns for different screens, and think of some different meanie types, oh, and of course, add some consequence for colliding with them! #C64 #8Bit #8bitart #LBP #Sackboy #IndieGameDev #bumblebee

More C64 LittleBigPlanet 8-bit Coding! - Did some work on interactions with Physics Ball, can now go behind and in front of it (That was more pain than I thought it would be!), can stand on it and get a high bounce by holding jump button when you land on it and can also walk on the ball for some clown action! The ball also kind of rolls down 'slopes', (or rather falls off corners), and it also has a proper world position now so can actually be moved from screen to screen - should be able to make some gameplay with this...in theory! #LittleBigPlanet #Sackboy #C64 #8bitart #football

I’ll have some of my record collection for sale at The Merch Market at Troxy Need to make some room and time that some of the vinyl had a new home….

Working on a new gameplay video of my #VR game project #GunmanContractsStandAlone , and finally managed to capture in HD and 60fps. Might still be some time before I am finished (and satisfied), but here is a little sneak peak at some chapter one recreated carnage ^^

It's the first time l've ever had such a good set of illustrations in one sketchbook. There are some good, some bad, and a couple of unfinished ones, but they reflect my state of mind at the time.

Hay hay! 👋 Still locked in on C++ 😅 Got a much nicer lock-on system working, a combo tracker, and some UI effects to show which special move you just used. I may have also added a few extra effects on the right side because... I like making UI 👀 Had to use a little Blueprint to hook up some animations, but Unreal's ModelView plugin is surprisingly flexible. Next up: bringing spells and MP back to the land of the living ✨ Also, what kind of attacks would you like to see? Big flashy finishers? Air combos? Mobility attacks? And yes... I know 😅 the AI currently does a great job of standing there. #IndieDevI #HackAndSlash #UnrealEngine #ActionCombat

30 years in the making… my new album, Time Machine, is out now! All 11 songs were written in my 20s, now reimagined and finally properly studio-recorded for the first time. Some have been played on stages all over the world, and some have barely ever been heard; some are pretty silly and some are very chill; but all are tunes that I think have stood the test of time… ish. 😂 I hope you get a kick out of it. For what it’s worth, I did try one take with my head on but some detail and timing is off because I was in pain due to my injury so… I didn’t do it again

Happy to make my 100th appearance for the club the other week. There’s been some ups and downs over the years but there’s also been some good memories made in that time and hopefully a lot more to come 💙🙏🏽

THE WARM UP… Finally out on DSPs!!! What a time… Some of my fondest memories working on this project and even just being in the room for so many of these songs / moments. “Heartache” is a beat i remember working tirelessly on

I had some time to improve on my rigging tool, it is basic a smart tool for adding controllers to drive shape keys. it automatically detects and sets up the transform direction and you can set up multiple at the same time #b3d #blender #Blendercommunity

Shortly after opening my facility, I made the decision to have my athletes ditch their shoes for warm ups, some jumps, some tempo work, and lifting. At the time, I did it mainly because I hoped it would strengthen the feet and ankles and potentially reduce the risk of ankle

Ole Wyatt and I got together with my producer Oscar and wrote this thing in a cabin out in Colorado, we noticed there was about 1000 two tone trucks and we figured that's just where two tones go to die. Never really thought about making a full Music Video but had some fun out on my farm. Playin this song for the first time live tonight! Two tooooone trippin!
