Зараз іще тривають гасіння пожеж та розбір завалів після чергового російського удару. Це був один із найбільш масштабних повітряних ударів, демонстративно значний та цинічний удар. Загалом 550 цілей, із них щонайменше 330 – російсько-іранські «шахеди», були застосовані також ракети, зокрема балістичні. Причому перші повітряні тривоги в наших містах і регіонах учора почалися майже одночасно з початком обговорення в медіа телефонної розмови Президента Трампа з Путіним. Росія вкотре демонструє, що не збирається закінчувати війну й терор. Тільки близько 9-ї годині ранку вже цієї доби в Києві був відбій повітряної тривоги. Жорстка, безсонна ніч. Саме столиця була головною мішенню цього російського удару. Нашим воїнам вдалося збити 270 повітряних цілей, іще 208 дронів було подавлено засобами РЕБ. Почали працювати дрони-перехоплювачі – десятки збиттів. Робимо все, щоб розвивати цей напрям захисту наших міст. І дуже важливо, щоб зберігалася підтримка партнерів у захисті від балістики. «Петріоти» й ракети для них є реальними захисниками життя. Загалом від цього сьогоднішнього російського удару, крім Києва, постраждали ще Дніпровська, Сумська, Харківська, Чернігівська та Київська області. Станом на цей час відомо про 23 поранених. Усім надається допомога. Багато місць падіння уламків дронів і ракет. На жаль, є й прямі влучання. І все це очевидний доказ того, що без дійсно масштабного тиску Росія не буде змінювати свою тупу руйнівну поведінку. Треба, щоб за кожен такий удар по людях і життю вони відчували відповідні санкційні та інші удари по їхній економіці, по їхніх заробітках, по їхній інфраструктурі. Це єдине, що може бути досягнуто швидко, щоб змінити ситуацію на краще. І це залежить від партнерів, передусім від Сполучених Штатів.

Last night, a Russian missile strike on Radushne in the Dnipro region killed parents and three children. Two more children were pulled alive from under the rubble. It was an ordinary home, blown into smithereens by a ballistic missile... Rescue efforts are also underway in Lviv at the site where a residential building was hit, with the rubble being cleared and the search for people continuing. So far, eight people have been reported killed across the country. My condolences to their families and loved ones... Dozens of people were injured, and everyone is receiving the necessary medical care. All the relevant services are involved. Kyiv and the region, as well as our Dnipro, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, came under attack overnight. Dozens of ordinary homes, civilian businesses, and infrastructure facilities were destroyed and damaged. More than 70 missiles were used in this strike, a significant number of them ballistic. There were also over 280 attack drones. More than 260 drones were intercepted. Our combat aviation shot down a significant number of cruise missiles, and even mobile fire teams managed to take on cruise missiles. Given the critical shortage of air defense missiles from our partners, our warriors are accomplishing truly incredible things, demonstrating a very high level of professionalism. Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the massive Russian attack are currently underway in the Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv regions. All necessary services are involved. The main target for the Russians was the energy infrastructure of the Kyiv region, but unfortunately, there were also direct hits on and damage to ordinary residential buildings, schools, and civilian businesses. As of now, four people have been reported killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Many people have been injured, and some are still seeking medical assistance. Over the course of the night, the Russians launched around 430 drones of various types and a significant number of missiles. There were 13 ballistic missiles alone, and the total number of missiles in this attack was 68. According to preliminary data, 58 of them were intercepted by our air defense system. And every such night of Russian strikes is a reminder to all our partners that air defenses and the missiles for them are effectively a daily necessity. Every agreement on missile supplies cannot wait – everything must be implemented as quickly as possible. Our agreements to increase the production of air defense missiles are a critical direction, and this direction requires one hundred percent attention. Russia will try to exploit the war in the Middle East to cause even greater destruction here in Europe, in Ukraine. This is why we must be fully aware of the real level of the threat and prepare accordingly, namely: in Europe, we need to develop the production of air defense missiles – especially those capable of countering ballistic threats – as well as all other systems necessary to truly protect lives, regardless of what may be happening in any other part of the world. As of now, casualties have been reported: 19 people wounded, including children. One person’s life was taken in this attack. My condolences to their family members and loved ones. There are also people injured in the Dnipro and Kharkiv regions. Strikes also hit the Odesa, Sumy, and Kherson regions. A total of 122 attack drones were launched overnight, along with two ballistic missiles. Such attacks happen every day. Overnight, there was yet another Russian attack with missiles and drones—ballistic strikes and more than 140 attack drones in a single night. It was loud in Kyiv and in other cities. Tragically, there are wounded and killed. My condolences to all the families affected. Rescue efforts continue all day in Kharkiv, Sumy, and the capital. It is entirely fair that the Russian sky—the sky of the aggressor—is not calm either today. Ukraine’s proposal for a ceasefire of at least 30 days still stands, we are not withdrawing it, as it offers a real chance for diplomacy. But it is Russia that the world sees giving no answer—no response except for new strikes. This clearly and obviously shows who is the source of this war. Russia must end its aggression—and it will have to. The only question is time. War is a loss for everyone, including the aggressor.

After the strikes on Iran's nuclear program facilities, there was a lot of uproar from Moscow — the Russian leadership performatively condemned the “missile-and-bomb” actions. Today, Moscow is silent after the Russian army carried out a completely cynical strike using Russian-Iranian Shahed drones and missiles against civilian infrastructure in Kyiv and other cities and communities of ours. In Kyiv alone, 5 apartment buildings were damaged — ordinary residential homes. So far, 6 people have been reported killed. Another person was killed in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, where a Shahed struck a hospital. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Rescuers are currently clearing the rubble and providing assistance wherever it is needed. The strike damaged sites in four regions. In total, 352 drones were launched, including 159 Shaheds just overnight, along with 16 missiles. Preliminary reports indicate that ballistic weapons from North Korea were also used. A large number of drones and missiles were shot down by our air defenders — but not all. And everyone in countries neighbouring Russia, Iran, and North Korea should be thinking carefully about whether they could protect lives if this coalition of murderers persists and continues spreading their terror. Today, during my visit to the United Kingdom, I will be discussing this very issue with our partners — our defense, which must become the foundation of a much stronger collective security. We will also be negotiating new and powerful steps to increase pressure on Russia for this war and to put an end to the strikes.

This is a clear escalation of terror by Russia — hundreds of "shaheds" every night, constant strikes, and massive attacks on Ukrainian cities. This demands that we speed things up. Sanctions must be imposed faster, and pressure on Russia must be strong enough that they truly feel the consequences of their terror. There’s a need for quicker action from our partners in investing in weapons production and advancing technology. Today, I will be speaking with partners — in particular within the Coalition of the Willing — about additional funding for the production of interceptor drones and the supply of air defense systems for Ukraine. The objectives are absolutely clear. Such Russian attacks must be met with a tough response. And that is exactly what we will deliver.

A new massive Russian attack on our cities. It was the highest number of aerial targets in a single day: 741 targets – 728 drones of various types, including over 300 shaheds, and 13 missiles – Kinzhals and Iskanders. Most of the targets were shot down. Our interceptor drones were used – dozens of enemy targets were downed, and we are scaling up this technology. Mobile fire groups were also active – they downed dozens as well. I thank all our warriors for their precision. At the moment, efforts are ongoing across many regions of Ukraine to eliminate the consequences of last night’s Russian attack. The main strike targeted Lutsk. Damage has also been reported in the Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions. This is a telling attack – and it comes precisely at a time when so many efforts have been made to achieve peace, to establish a ceasefire, and yet only Russia continues to rebuff them all. This is yet another proof of the need for sanctions – biting sanctions against oil, which has been fueling Moscow’s war machine with money for over three years of the war. Secondary sanctions on those who buy this oil and thereby sponsor killings. Our partners know how to apply pressure in a way that will force Russia to think about ending the war, not launching new strikes. Everyone who wants peace must act.

Seven districts were affected, and, as usual, the Russians struck ordinary residential buildings. Eighteen residential buildings, a school, the Lithuanian Embassy, and infrastructure facilities were damaged. As of now, nine people have been reported killed in this attack. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured. Medical teams are helping everyone who needs it. Overnight, the Russians launched 35 missiles at Ukraine, including 27 ballistic missiles, as well as 185 attack drones of various types. Kyiv was the primary target, but strikes also hit the Dnipro, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Poltava regions. Only one ballistic missile was intercepted, simply because there are no interceptors for the Patriot systems. And it is this shortage of ballistic missile interceptors that only encourages Russia to launch such attacks that take human lives. It is critical that partners hear that these capabilities are needed not somewhere in stockpiles for hypothetical scenarios, but here and now, to contain and stop the Russian war in Ukraine.
