Yesterday, at the meeting in Istanbul, the proposal for an immediate and full ceasefire was reiterated to the Russian side. In response, Russian drones struck residential buildings and the Pryvoz market in Odesa, apartment blocks in Cherkasy, energy infrastructure in the Kharkiv region, a university gym in Zaporizhzhia. Donetsk, Sumy, and Mykolaiv regions were all under strikes as well. In total, there were 103 attack drones, mostly “Shaheds,” and four missiles. Every night, Russia chooses cities and communities to target with its strikes. Tragically, three people were killed in the Kharkiv region. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. Tragically, at least 8 people have already been confirmed dead. One of them is a child. My condolences to all their families and loved ones. People may still be trapped under the rubble. In Odesa, debris is still being cleared at the residential building hit by a Russian drone. Numerous fires broke out in the city overnight. In total, Odesa was attacked by 21 drones. Tragically, there have been fatalities. My condolences to the families and loved ones. All those affected are receiving the necessary assistance. Also under attack during the night were the Odesa, Kyiv, and Sumy regions, Kropyvnytskyi and its region, as well as the Kharkiv and Cherkasy regions. In the Kharkiv region, rescuers are still battling a fire. Last night alone, the Russian forces used 170 drones against Ukraine — more than a hundred of them "Shaheds". For over 50 days now, Russia has been ignoring the American proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire. There were also our proposals — at the very least, to refrain from striking civilian infrastructure and to establish lasting silence in the sky, at sea, and on land. Russia has responded to all this with new shelling and new assaults. That is why a strong push for diplomacy is needed — continued pressure on Russia is essential to force it into silence and negotiations. Unfortunately, one person was killed — my condolences to their family and loved ones. As of now, five others have been reported injured. All are receiving medical assistance. Seven people are currently being treated in hospitals in Dnipro after a Russian attack on the city. Five people have been hospitalized in Odesa, two of them in critical condition.
