FUCK YEAH, i love the actual dynamic, seeing everyone i follow trying Godot in their own fields. Plus, i'm into Shaders/VFX too, so i'll follow what you'll do carefully Matt ahah

haha thanks for the enthusiasm ! 🤘

I really want to learn how to do this, this is very good

Thank you ! I don't know if there are many shader or vfx tutorials out there for Godot but you can get inspiration from other engines like Unity or UE.

Awesome! How do you spawn particles from the contact area? I assume it is a separate effect from the shader.

Thanks ! As it's my first day on Godot, I took the hacky way. I have a GPU particle system that acts as a collider detector then on collision it spawns those embers sub-particles. I'm sure that could be done properly with some scripting or custom GPU particle shaders.

Clearly Godot has been in need of people like you to showcase it all this time. I've been using it for years now and I do no know how to did that.

Thanks a lot ! I'm only scratching the surface of the engine. Also shaders and vfx are kind of universal.

This is HOT! Ah, and the shader too Great work!

Thanks haha 🔥
