HUAWEI HarmonyOS 6.1’s liquid glass effect is indeed the closest implementation to iOS 26 among all current smartphone operating systems. It looks genuinely beautiful. This may be one of HarmonyOS’s advantages. At least in terms of visual rendering, dynamic blur, transparent materials, and layered depth, Huawei has clearly shown that it has the ability to create this kind of premium glass-like effect. I am not trying to argue whether it is right or wrong for Huawei to follow Apple’s design direction. My point is that the ability to actually achieve this effect is impressive in itself. By comparison, other Android-based OS skins have not yet shown the same level of execution. The Android camp still has work to do.

designers love to hate on raw, unfinished things. redesigning the whole ios/watchos/macos/... ui after a decade is a brutal challenge for any design team! almost impossible to satisfy the expectation. most haters around here have never designed in a large organization like apple and are not aware of challenges such as politcs, opiniated stakeholder, impossible deadlines, the list goes on... i empathise with the ui designers in apple. yes! os26 and liquid glass feels rough at the moment! so did the ios7 at launch. it evolved. this will too. i appreciate the brave direction apple has taken with this liquid glass ui. yes it comes with challenges including readability, compatibility and more... let's stop b*tching about it and contribute to solutionise these challenges.

During training, you visit many of the facilities that will eventually play a role in your mission. Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A was one of them. This visit felt different. Standing at the base of the tower and looking up, I was reminded that this is the very place from which Neil Armstrong and his crewmates began their journey to the Moon. The facility has evolved over the decades and has been modernized for a new era of spaceflight, but it still carries the weight of its history. You can feel it. Then there is the elevator. Inside, there are only two buttons: Earth and Space. A simple design choice, perhaps, but one that feels remarkably profound when launch day finally arrives. What you see here is me at the top of the launch pad, with the Falcon 9 yet to make its way out. The rocket is transported to the pad horizontally and then raised to a vertical position before launch. Standing there, it was impossible not to imagine the events that would soon unfold. How can a 99% accurate medical test give you a 9% chance of having the disease if it comes back positive? 🤔 If you are in medicine this is the SINGLE most important diagnostic testing concept to know. Welcome to the difference between specificity and positive predictive value. Sensitivity & specificity are fixed test properties. These do not factor how common a disease is (prevalence) Positive Predictive Value (probability a positive test reflects having a disease) factors in prevalence and is actually more important to clinicians than sens/spec. It is harder to figure out though because we need to have a gestault for how prevalent a disease is for the EXACT patient we are seeing. If you have very low prevalence, even with a great test, most positives are false positives. This is why screening low-risk patients can result in many false positives and harm To master this, just play with the calculator yourself and you will see!!!!👇

I'm not a MultiversX $EGLD maximalist. There are many other chains that I like and resonate with for different reasons, like $XNO, $XMR, $SUI $ALGO, $XRD, $DASH, $ADA, $AVAX, $BCH, $NEAR etc. However, I believe Multiversˣ has the biggest asymmetry at this point. And for that, I mean, not only looking at egold from an investment perspective (which is also true, with massive growth potential, in my opinion), but also (and much more) from an ecosystem perspective. The ecosystem is still small and super welcoming to active contributors. Starting to contribute now, or building something within the ecosystem now, offers a huge asymmetric reward for the long run if MultiversX grows as much as I think it could. This, of course, is also a sort of bet and has its risks, but the risk-reward ratio is positive from my assessment and this is precisely what I'm doing. Anyone building a reputation, a brand, a business, or simply a network around MvX, now, is positioning for the future. This is the most valuable asymmetry in my opinion. Even bigger than simply buying EGLD, which I also believe will be very rewarding soon, but anyways. Build something. Whatever that is. Start now. What's your opinion about what I said here?

He may possess critical information about: • who created the manipulated content, • where it originated from, • who coordinated its release, and • whether there was an intentional attempt to mislead the public or cause unrest. Digital misinformation is a serious issue. The first distributor of such content is often a key link in tracing the source and determining whether any laws were violated. Department of State Services (DSS) get to work now.

I just saw this video on IG now. The creator obviously does not know what it is. Yet, he's touching it. The main purpose of making this post is to tell you NEVER TOUCH AN ANIMAL OR PLANT YOU DON'T KNOW, most especially at the sea. If it now has bright colour, avoid it until you're sure it's safe to touch. The organism is called velella and it is mildly venomous. The venom doesn't really have effect on humans but some people might be affected by it. When it is touched, using that same hand to touch the the face might cause the face to itch or burn. Officially, it is not found in Nigeria, but I won't rule out its sighting totally. They're usually found in America's, Europe, Asia and Australia. In Africa, they've been found in Tanzania, Mauritius, and South Africa too. Therefore , they might get drifted to coastal areas in Nigeria too. Thank you.

The venom doesn't really have effect on humans but some people might be affected by it. When it is touched, using that same hand to touch the the face might cause the face to itch or burn. Officially, it is not found in Nigeria, but I won't rule out its sighting totally. They're usually found in America's, Europe, Asia and Australia. In Africa, they've been found in Tanzania, Mauritius, and South Africa too. Therefore , they might get drifted to coastal areas in Nigeria too. Thank you.

🇲🇾🇨🇳 Hormuz gets all the attention, but the Strait of Malacca is the one that keeps Beijing up at night. It's the world's busiest maritime chokepoint, narrowing to just 1.7 miles at its tightest point. In the first half of 2025 alone, 23.2 million barrels of oil per day passed through it. That's more than Hormuz. Around 75% of China's seaborne crude imports flow through it from the Middle East and Africa. The Iran war has forced governments across Asia to think seriously about what happens if Malacca faces the same fate as Hormuz. Indonesia's finance minister floated the idea of tolls this week before walking it back. Singapore has already assured both the U.S. and China that passage is guaranteed and it won't participate in any effort to block it. The difference between Hormuz and Malacca is that 4 countries share the strait and all of them have a strategic interest in keeping it open. That makes it harder to close, but also harder to control.
