First (potential) safety critical disengagement that I've had in quite a while on 13.2.9. Watch first and then read, curious if others would make the same mistake FSD did. I was supervising and didn't even realize the mistake that FSD made until it was too late. Fortunately nothing happened... show more

Also it's @Matt3rai - I messed up the tag 😅

Yeah the road signage company did a retarded job on that one. I've seen the clip several times and i still don't know where to go lol

haha - at the 0:12 mark you can see a cone in the middle of the road that is sort of bent over. That cone got moved and SHOULD be the way I would go... but the cone makes it seems like I need to go left instead, which is actually oncoming traffic.

I would have made the same mistake. Was FSD supposed to drive over the cone in the first picture or squeeze through these cones potentially knocking them over in 2nd. That’s just bad road construction set up 🚧

Yeah I made the same mistake, since I was 'supervising' I was watching each decision the car made and I was fully onboard with the path it chose up until I realized we were on the wrong side of the road. Certainly not an FSD mistake, but pretty wild either way. my main question is what SHOULD FSD have done in this situation?

Absolutely would have made the same mistake, first time watching the video I was lost on how you ended up over there it all looked correct 😂 Yea that worker needs to be fired

The moron that laid those cones out should be fired

So construction crews have no accountability in Canada? Lay that type of signage out in the U.S. and it’s grounds for termination.

I'm planning on sending this video to the city this morning. It was poorly done for sure.

Watching it, I was even confused on which way the cones were directing traffic. Someone needs some retraining on the set up.
