This is an incredible video I was just sent from a follower who was using Tesla FSD V14.1.4 today. His car was going around a construction crew, but then a bus started driving head-on toward the car. It had no time to go around, so FSD reversed & got out of the way. h/t Dylan Womack

I spent a few hours using Tesla FSD V14.3.5 on the Cybertruck yesterday. I said this before, but I honestly think the Cybertruck is the best vessel for FSD. The way it handles tight spaces and sharp turns is impressive. What makes the Cybertruck the best (imo) is the way it can just eat up the road under it. Potholes, rough roads, whatever, it doesn’t matter. Cybertruck glides over everything. That combined with amazing car control is why I think it’s the best, and most comfortable. I just can’t get over how amazing FSD is these days. For the younger generation, self-driving will become the norm. For us, I don’t think it will ever get old.

Red steering wheel incident. This is by far the worst thing I have had occur on FSD 14.2.2.4. I tried it three times and every time it failed. It was supposed to take a left and the left blinker was on, but it looks like it started to take a right and then it stopped, displayed the red starting wheel and told me to take over while I was pulled out into the lane.

While using FSD I pulled up to this rail crossing as the lights started to flash. Before the arms had dropped the car slowed down on its own and stopped at the white line perfectly. This video then shows how Tesla FSD handles itself once the gates lift and it’s the lead car.

Police blocking my way on the canals 🇳🇱 FSD tries to back out of a spot and instantly a wild police car appears The decision making is on point but execution still lacking. Not sure if inability or FSD being restricted in a way So then it tried to park itself and started acting awkward. Reactivating FSD would’ve just made the car drive into the police car again before reversing and pulling of the same move. Weird because it on the one hand it’s able to pull off a genius move whilst on the other not finishing what he started but act like a deer in the headlights instead What do you think? Genius or dumb? I didn't think I'd done anything wrong, so I had no reason to think I was going to be arrested. But I suggested we walk over toward the park police rather than waiting for them to come to us, and went over and furnished my id and kind of before I knew it, I was being handcuffed and realized I was being arrested.

FSD V14.1.7 | Near Accident This is without a doubt the closest I have come to getting into an accident in a long time. I think had I not taken over and slammed on the brakes we would not have slowed down in time. You can see that FSD does an incredible job reacting to the car (even before I noticed it) and was slowing down, but it was not slowing down enough to stop in time. As soon as I saw the car swerving to the right I worried she was going to bounce back into my lane so that is when I decided to go full on the brakes to stop the car. You can see prior to me taking over we were full regen braking (which is FSD reacting well) but it wasn't using any real brakes at all, and ABS was not active until I took over. Let me know what you all think in the comments. I still think FSD is incredible - the reality is if you watch the video the car saw and reacted to the situation before I did, it just didn't brake as agressively as it needed to in this situation. FSD + an attentive driver is without a doubt in my mind still safer than a normal human driver who is not using FSD.

🚨 The first “critical” intervention we’ve had on FSD v14 (in fact, it’s the first since we picked up the new Model Y on 8/30) The oncoming car has no stop sign. I stopped the car, but either way, it wasn’t a very “close” event, but still something that needed to be intervened. I didn’t feel as if it was a situation that I wanted the car to work itself through. I felt this was an instance when it was time to take any chance of a collision out of the question. I didn’t ever feel like one was going to happen because I knew I could stop at any time. We’ve put about 3,000 miles on the car since picking it up, a majority of those on FSD. For this to be the first real mistake it’s made, it’s not totally upsetting, but still a reminder that YOU as the driver are responsible.

I was driving home from seeing a movie with my kids while using FSD. Suddenly encountered a cop car with its lights flashing - the car was blocking off the road. FSD came to a stop and then tried to creep around the car while the cop was grabbing a gun out of his trunk. 🤯 I had to disengage to avoid pissing him off. I rolled down my window and asked politely if I could go through there. He said, “No, you gotta pop a U-turn.” That’s when I saw 3 police hiding behind bushes and waiting next to someone’s front door. A man came running into the yard where two cops peacefully detained him. Not sure if that man was the main threat, but I was off the scene from there. How should FSD handle these situations when a driver isn’t in the driver’s seat? Is it appropriate to drive through a crime scene when a cop shouts to you to not go through there?

Now I can say for sure that FSD v13.2.2 responds to both flashing lights and sirens of emergency vehicles. I had a similar experience a couple of days ago but I wasn’t 100% sure since there was another vehicle ahead of me. Tonight at this intersection, I noticed the traffic lights turned green and my CT didn’t move. Then I heard a brief siren sound from my left. I saw an ambulance approaching the intersection from the left and made a right turn. Once the ambulance was behind us as seen in the 2nd clip, my CT started to proceed. FSD is getting intelligent by the day.
