Five for flying! #TeamBoeing completed a first for our test fleet: five 777-9 jets airborne in 24 hours. During the two-day campaign, the team conducted systems, propulsion and interior tests and reached a first-flight milestone. They completed six flights, nearly 18 hours of flight testing and additional ground tests.

Docking? ✅ Our Blue Docking System team successfully completed soft capture system testing at @NASA_Johnson's Six-Degree-Of-Freedom Dynamic Test facility. This test completes a key milestone on our Commercial LEO Destinations (CLD) contract. The fully vertically integrated system will fly first on our Blue Moon MK2 Lunar Lander, then on Orbital Reef and future vehicles. This marks the first time we have confirmed the performance of our pressurized docking system in flight-like scenarios, meeting International Docking System Standard requirements.

Our Blue Ghost Mission 2 milestones are stacking up... 22 feet to be exact! The team completed structure qualification testing at NASA JPL on our fully stacked Blue Ghost lander and Elytra Dark orbiter model. After a series of vibration and acoustic tests, this milestone helps prove our spacecraft are equipped to withstand the intense environments they’ll experience during launch and in transit to the Moon. Stage 2 testing is officially underway at NASA Stennis 🚀 The campaign kicked off with successful cryoproof, loading the stage with cryogenic fluids and pressurizing it beyond expected flight loads to validate its structural integrity, followed by COPV manifold proof testing to verify the high-pressure system that will pressurize propellants during flight. These tests also marked the activation of A2, bringing together the infrastructure, flight hardware, ground and vehicle software, and the integrated team of test, launch, and vehicle engineers. Next up: hot fire capable assembly work, then back to the stand ahead of stage hot fire testing. 🔥

In January, we delivered our second aircraft to DoD customers at Edwards Air Force Base. This historic lakebed is where Chuck Yeager first broke the sound barrier in the Bell X-1, and where the Enterprise space shuttle prototype completed a series of approach and landing flight trials. It's an honor for us to conduct testing of our electric air taxi on this hallowed ground.
