A few years ago my 3 year old daughter at the time came home from child care and told us that we needed to be sorry for stealing the land from the aboriginals and we needed to find another country to move to. I was furious and wanted to go have a talk with the child care, but my wife didn't want me to, because she felt it would cause trouble for her daughter if I did. I understand her fears, and it's the same fears most parents have, which is exactly why nothing is done about it. 😟 We all know that the left goes out of their way to ruin the lives of people who don't comply with their new order. 😡

It also doesn't take into account the reasons for the children being taken. Look even now at the rates of child sexual assault and serious domestic violence in indigenous communities. In spite of the billions being given to them every year and every accommodation made. This "Sorry" stuff is designed to make traditional Australians feel insecure, so they'll continue to allow themselves to be manipulated and taken advantage of, by Indigenous leaders and by recent immigrants. The Stolen Generation is a myth. Only Children suffering abuse were removed and put into institutions and non indigenous families for their own safety and benefit where they were looked after properly. Again the left has hijacked proper factual evidence and history to perpetuate victimhood and divisive hatred.

What is worse is not only are they being used as political cannon fodder- they are being actively lied to. Those kids, had they been left in a situation where they were sexually abused, physically assaulted repeatedly, and routinely neglected, would have in most cases died before reaching adulthood or ended up in jail then dying after harming others. That situation is arguably worse today, where criminals of similar descent are being allowed to return to the community of the women and children they are even multiply convicted of physically and sexually abusing. Aboriginal children in remote communities are 200 times more likely to test positive for STI’s than the national average precisely because we hide behind cultural sensitivity to ignore blatant abuse and criminal behavior.
