I want this so much. There are so many details to consider with portals. The pass through is looking smooth. There are so many related effects which have to account for portals like: - collision - traces - radial damage - sounds - particles and ribbons - physics constraints …

Not sure what you mean by "swapping collisions", just teleporting the character here. Not handling anything gameplay/collision related atm.

Well done! I was trying to achieve something similar, and I remember Lumen being a pain to work around. You can hide a plane behind the scene capture with a blue glow material to create the illusion that the player is illuminated by the room's lighting when standing close to it.
