Your team still use a field tarp? Learn how to use the “tarp funneling!” technique … When you don’t want to dump all the water already on the tarp into the outfield grass because it is already saturated. We had a drain over by the dugout and we learned how to get 100% of the water on the tarp into that drain. It was a lifesaver for getting in games … because our OF did not drain good at all.

This concrete truck crew is done with their job. They washed out the whole entire shute of the concrete truck and then the wheelbarrow into the storm drain. This is totally fine right? It seemed it was ok to do this in the 80s-90s and still might be in very small towns... but a lot of cities are starting to strictly enforce these violations. There are steep fines if it was concrete. If it’s just a rinse of the tools, the water might be gray or dirty so it could fine but if it’s concrete then it could be big fines. Many people said this is fine and no harm and no foul. Others said that you are still pouring bits of concrete down there. Is this a big deal? Do you think that is concrete residue being poured down into there or do you think it’s just dirty water and nothing to be concerned about?

For my North Carolina peeps, a 1.1 million gallon sewage leak at Briar Creek in N Raleigh was cleaned up, they were told by the city of Raleigh to dispose of it in a sewer drain, but Ooopsie, they released it in a storm water drain that feeds into Turkey Creek, which feeds into Lake Crabtree, then eventually Falls Lake, and finally the Neuse river. 1.1 million gallons of raw untreated sewage....🤮

the day jake said “sorry, dad” and ran😂 🦮: when i was in australia, there was this backyard. what should i call it? a drain… there’s this thing when you open it, it’s the drain below 🦮: dad and i decided to open the top, to clean the inside with water. and we opened it.. i think there a few hundred million bugs (jake???😭) 🦮: they were swarming out from everywhere like water leaking but they were cockroaches, they even made a sound 🦮: i get goosebumps even now i when i think about that, i cannot forget how shocked i was then. 🦮 the moment i saw that, i cried out “sorry, dad” and ran away. i was sorry to my dad, i said sorry to him then. that’s a memory i have #JAKE #제이크 #ENHYPEN_JAKE

NEW: Fire truck in the St. Louis area makes a near-perfect slide into someones driveway as winter weather continues to slam the midwest. 10/10. No injuries were reported however a parked car was reportedly hit according to Fox 2. Last night, St. Louis was hit with an ice storm. This woman’s house backed up with sewage, it flooded out the basement, water and waste was floating around. She hasn’t been able to stay in the home due to safety issues and the smell is horrendous. She called out a plumbing company, they tried to snake it and noticed the snake couldn’t go all the way in, suspecting tree roots they routed a camera into the drain and was able to see that there was a fiber optic line going right through the drain. She called spectrum and the sent someone out to confirm it was their line. She owed around $20k to the plumber and was able uk get the drain repaired but Spectrum is resisting taking responsibility. It looks like they drilled through the drain to run the line on purpose, was this intentional out of laziness?

But I will call it something which has happened, which has violated the 100% integrity of the examination and our commitment to a zero-error examination. Insofar as the typical, traditional way of leak is concerned, no question paper in the form of a complete question paper has leaked anywhere. What has happened is that a guess paper in the form of a PDF was circulating on WhatsApp, and it had a few questions which were matching with the questions which were asked. When we verified whether this was in circulation before 3rd May, it was found that some of it was. So, given that a few questions were available to some people before the examination, it makes it unfair for the 22.79 lakh students who were preparing for this examination with their hardwork. So, because of that act of a few anti-social elements, we could not have compromised the interest of the honest students. So, we took this tough call of cancelling this examination and ordering a CBI inquiry."

This is what happens when someone unblocks a road drain. The flood water disappears. It’s a shame that so many of local councils can’t be arsed to do this. Blame the local councils for blocked road drains causing flooding rather than on cow farts destroying the climate.
