A FOIA request revealed that, in just one town, 3rd parties (credit card companies, cell phone companies, alphabet agencies, retailers, foreign governments, etc...) accessed camera data more than 500,000 times in a 9 week period. "Flock Safety could not guarantee that it's not sharing information with federal agencies." No shit. Several municipalities in CT are "turning off" their Flock cameras in response to what one FOIA request revealed. The problem - the towns don't control/own the cameras nor the data they collect so they can't turn them off. They can instruct their employees to not access them but Flock, a private company funded *almost exclusively* (outside of people like Marc Andreessen & his ilk) by taxpayer dollars, owns the devices and the data. There's a lot of angles that one could take with this video/story but the one that stands out to me is what he's charged with. Compare the amount of time (decades) he's looking at for a non violent/victimless crime(s) with what ACTUAL violent felons who hurt/rape/kill people get in New Mexico. The Police State doesn't like challenges to its self perceived supremacy and they love "sending a message" which seems to happen a lot in cases similar to this which is telling in terms of what the Police State places value on. Jevon Martinez (44) is suspected of damaging Flock/ALPR cameras and is now facing nine felony charges including larceny, criminal damage to property, and tampering with evidence. Florida man has been arrested and spent a night in jail because the "S" in "Sunshine State" on his rental car's Florida license plate was obstructed by a frame. This law was passed by the pro Flock camera lobby and the penalties for it are absolutely absurd police state BS. They've now had to "clarify" it because it was intentionally written vaguely as they wanted to prevent any type of "AI spoofing" of the Flock cameras that several youtube channels have proven was very possible and easy to do. The city of Cleveland has learned the same lesson that cities in Washington, NC, etc.... have all already learned. The data collected by Flocks cameras & AI software isn't secure. It's easily accessed by just about anyone and certainly every state level agency/threat and that's only accounting for present day, known threats. As the city of Hillsborough, NC stated on their website, "town leaders became concerned about language that could be interpreted as allowing Flock Safety to disclose data to any government entity or third party if the company had a “good faith belief” of a need to do so." What could go wrong 🤡 Imagine what foreign adversaries will do with this data when they want to target America/Americans. Imagine what our own corrupt government will do with this data whenever the next "COVID emergency" type situation happens. In this interview with the BBC, it is revealed that the initial group of 13 individuals who embarked on a journey from Accra to London by road has reduced to 7. Kwabena Peprah, one of the 7 adventurers, reveals that they've had a wonderful experience so far, except for a hitch in Mauritania where they got extorted by the Police and were held up for over 7 hours over an alleged traffic infraction. They also almost got their car impounded for 2 days, but overall, the journey has been an amazing experience as they get closer to their destination, London.
