Well, Metallica played Cardiff last night (if you didn't already know!), and what a night it was... Genuinely unbiased opinion, but that was one of the best, if not THE best gigs of the #M72tour that I have attended. Detroit was amazing. Seattle was another level. But Wales? Oh boy... The crowd in Wales were incredible... Not just for Metallica, but also for Knocked Loose and Gojira. But the sing-alongs with Metallica were something else. Never heard a crowd sing along with such passion, from beginning to end, the way they did at the Principality Stadium. That was probably the last time I will see Metallica live on stage, and what show it was 🤘 Diolch yn fawr iawn James, Lars, Kirk, and Robert. Full report from my time in Wrexham! Very grateful to the team Wrexham Unite 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 for accommodating us and allowing us to be a part of their event. Was well worth the trek! Two of the event organisers even stayed with us through the entire rest of the day to show us around & make it all the more enjoyable! Looking forward to the next! And the Wolverhampton one coming very soon! It seems the lefties found the bottle they lost in Wrexham as they decided to throw it at us (video on my X & YT pages)

Politicians are making some pretty bold claims about the cuts they will make in Wales to save money. The problem is, their maths doesn’t add up. Here are 3 things that, even if you cut them, will make very little difference to the amount of cash Wales has: --- The Nation of Sanctuary. A scheme to help (mainly Ukrainian refugees) contribute to Welsh society. Cost = £10m/year = 0.037% of the Welsh budget. --- The planting in Uganda. A scheme that offsets 25% of Wales’ transport emissions (not bad for the cost of one 3-bed house). Cost = £270k/year = 0.001% of budget. --- Scrap 20mph. This would actually COST £40m in changing the signs back. It also would cost the taxpayer more through increased casualties and higher insurance (about £90m a year). It is fine to want to scrap any of these policies if you think the money can be better spent elsewhere. But politicians need to stop pretending it will make any meaningful difference to the ability of the Welsh Government to deliver public services. They are rounding errors on a spreadsheet.
