To be honest I have my childhood friends out there from Meitei community they tell me things far worse than it’s being reported in media , central govt has completely surrendered to CIA otherwise the our Army can sought out the matter in just 10 days but than it has come from the Top which is beyond my imagination. Unfortunately my country is unaware of atrocities going on in Manipur in the name of Communal conflict.

#WATCH | Imphal, Manipur: The identification process underway at JNIMS mortuary for the bodies of 6 individuals from the Naga community, who were allegedly abducted by villagers on May 13, 2026, from Leilon Vaiphei village. Former Manipur CM N Biren Singh says, "...the new DG has come and some department like law and order has been shifted to some capable DG and some changes in the portfolios like departments in the second force has taken place. Moreover, above this, the central government has sent the CRPF, Cobra teams. It was assured earlier by the government of India, so that effectiveness in dealing with the militants will not be compromised. I think the situation will be improved..." (11.06)

This is a traditional way of staging protests by taking out a rally with mashals in hands. It happened in the night hours of 8 September 2024. I can see Meitei women hitting the streets. The Meira Paibis have been at the forefront of the Manipuri movement. Rare is a sight of womenfolk from a community protesting, fighting and taking charge of and leading a movement from the front. Manipur is passing sleepless nights. Will GoI wake up to Manipur's reality and safeguard its integrity against Church-backed Kuki terrorism? Manipur seeks peace. Absolute peace!
