I think you're right, the stock NES would not have tile space, but it uses a special mapper. Another example is the Genesis game Paprium, it includes an extra chip on the cartridge (which also helps making it harder to make bootleg copies because you'd have to copy hardware too).

Fatal Fury Special was ported to the PC Engine CD, and at that level, it’s fair to call it an almost perfect conversion. The Super Famicom version suffered from hardware limitations and was handled by Takara, a different company, so the results weren’t particularly impressive. Did you know that arcade cabinets with CRT monitors actually had three different resolutions? Most classic 2D arcade games used a 15kHz (320×240) resolution. This was the same resolution commonly used by CRT TVs and many 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit home consoles. Then Sega introduced higher-resolution arcade games with Virtua Fighter and Virtua Racing, which used 24kHz (496×384). Sega Model 1, 2, and 3 arcade boards are famous for using this resolution. One of the reasons the Sega Saturn versions of Virtua Fighter 2 and Daytona USA looked so different from the arcade versions was because of this resolution gap. Later 3D arcade games moved to 31kHz (640×480) resolution. Sega NAOMI games are one of the best-known examples. That’s why you need to be careful when buying an arcade cabinet. Early cabinets only supported 15kHz, while the commonly seen Astro City supported both 15kHz and 24kHz. Later cabinets like Blast City, Net City, and New Net City were known as “3-mode” cabinets because they supported all three resolutions. NO BUT HIS IDEA SO BRILLIANT? 👑: i already talked about it and gave hints to yeodoongies, right? so, it was almost at the final completion stage, but then the price came out. and it ended up being a bit higher than i expected. since i really wanted this item to be practical and actually useful for yeodoongies, i designed it with that in mind—and because of those extra details, the unit cost ended up a bit higher than i first thought 👑: so i thought, “wouldn’t this be a bit too much of a burden for yeodoongies?” that’s why i just decided to scrap it and changed to something else instead 💬: then just give me the one you scrapped 👑: ㅎㅎㅎ ah, that one was actually—well, i guess i can just say it now anyway. actually, i was thinking of a keyboard. the idea for that keyboard was something like i wanted to put hehetmon face on the keyboard—what should i call it? on the keycaps, like emojis. and then, you know those keyboards that don't make that loud clicking sound? not like mechanical keyboards, but ones that sound like asmr... ah, silent! but even though it's silent, it has that, you know—that “sagak-sagak” sound when you press the keys. yeah, you’re right! like “tuduk-tuduk” sound! i had that kind of keyboard in mind and tried to make it happen. but the unit cost ended up being higher than i expected. and i thought, this is a bit too much— i know our yeodoongies would want to have it no matter what, but if the price is this high, it’ll be such a burden on yeodoongies. so, i just made the call to scrap it and switched to something else

7/6/2026: Samsung takes the wind out of memory? - Samsung reported earnings and brought down $EWY which causes a domino effect in $MU $SNDK $WDC after the close. - $QQQ continues to consolidate but the action out of semiconductors was a bit lack luster. - $MAGS on the other hand trying to bounce some lead by $AAPL $TSLA $GOOGL. - $NVDA looks borderline lifeless and the market has been able to brush past that fact for several weeks now. Does that change on a loss of the 200sma. - $ARKG $XBI $IBB $PPH still the leading group but mostly extended and hard to chase at this point. - $XLF $KRE impressive action out of the banking stocks. - You can be comfortable playing themes you may not normally find yourself in. You can short former leadership. Or you can go fishing.

If it was not for Senior Counsel Una McGurk's brilliant expose that An Garda Siochana do not record statistics on ethnicity and nationality on PULSE, this issue would never have seen the light of day. Una McGurk was the first person to publicly highlight that the CSO do NOT publish statistics on immigration and crime because An Garda Siochana do not record statistics on ethnicity and nationality as a mandatory field. At a Press Conference to launch the Womens Coalition on Immigration in Dublin on 2nd December 2025, Una McGurk launched a public campaign to call on the Irish people to hold the Minister for Justice and the Garda Commissioner to account by demanding that there is an urgent review of the mandatory fields on PULSE, so that ethincity and nationality are recorded. As a result of Una McGurk's trojan work the government have been forced into a position of announcing that they intend to change the PULSE system to record ethnicity and nationality.

It's not often that you see a game crossing over from one genre into another. Ultima went from classic turn-based RPG to real-time first-person 3D view action/adventure RPG. And it worked! Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds was developed by Looking Glass Technologies and published by Origin Systems in 1993. Gameplay is non-linear, letting you roam freely through huge, multi-level environments, solve puzzles, fight in real time, and interact with NPCs. For its time, it was highly innovative. It featured a fully explorable 3D world (no grid-snapping like older dungeon crawlers). The physics and object interactions were next level: you could pick up, drop, throw, stack, or combine almost anything. Want to build a staircase out of crates? Go for it. Pile junk to reach a high ledge? Sure thing. Knock over a table during a fight? It all worked. This level of interactivity was unheard of in 1993 - at least nothing close comes to mind. As an old-time Ultima fan, I was skeptical when I heard about an action RPG spin-off that diverged so much from the original concept. But boy, was I wrong; it was a blast!

This was attempted to be facilitated in 2007-2008 by the Vice President of Lockheed Martin at the time. (likely a true American patriot - who I have NOT had the pleasure of meeting personally - but I hope to be able to). AND… that transfer to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)… was an attempt to bring back this craft into the LEGAL & CONSTITUTIONAL OVERNIGHT of the United States of America. HOWEVER - this “MATERIAL TRANSFER” WAS - inhibited by the (at the time) head/director of “Science & Technology” for the CIA. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. A new cinematic AI piece. "Panopticon - Survivorship" This is my sixth piece in my Midjourney + Magnific.ai + Runway series. I've been on a bit of a creative streak for the past week and loving this new process. I almost gave up on this one, but then finally found a narrative through line. It looks at those who survive a disaster, but it is a contemplation of those who did not survive. We not only zoom in on those who are trying to get to safety, but we zoom in looking for those who may not have survived. We also zoom into elements that may help identify people. It also looks at who is hardest hit by a disaster and it is often people of color and I hope the piece elicits a question of why this is the case and an examination of the dark history it may uncover.

Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake. "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here.
