When the Kremlin was asked about American efforts to get countries to stop buying Russian oil, they said they offer a quality product at a good price. I beg to differ. The product Russia offers and the revenue they receive fuels Putin’s ability to kill innocent Ukrainians and perpetuates the bloodbath in Ukraine. Buying Russian oil is not a good business deal. It is funding terrorism, death and destruction. To Hungary, Turkey and Slovakia: if you think we’re not watching your efforts to undercut U.S. sanctions on Russian oil, you are mistaken.

It is unfortunate that when they were buying oil at lower prices, the benefit was not passed on to the consumers. It was hoarded by the oil companies and the Government of India. Now when we are seeing a crisis like situation, instead of cushioning the problem being faced, they have gone on to increase the price. GoI should rollback this hike
