@CosmicSkeptic The full interview really exposed the difference between developed intellectual traditions of religion and the kind of representation of new athiest critiques - it was 90 mins of Alex presenting emotional arguments about why God seems mean while Fr Pine gave beautiful defences

@CosmicSkeptic I loved his explanation of The Fall: “God prepared a mansion for us, The Evil One made us question God’s intentions, God responded ‘okay, I won’t make you live in the mansion,’ so they chose a hovel.” Maybe I’m wrong, but Alex seemed unwilling to engage with Fr. Pine’s responses

It seems a bit ironic that an atheist such as Alex would be able to complain about the fairness of God when it comes to Grace for conversion. I never get to have personal conversations with priests like this. That’s unfair. God will say how was I unfair to you ? I literally sent multiple priests to talk with you. And you still refused. lol
