For some reason I thought openxr overlays were near impossible, not sure why. I wonder what else is possible here now that you've done this. I use this AI assistant program for gaming that runs in essentially a browser window, wonder if I could get that as an overlay too...

Good. I hate taking the headset off just to figure out why a PCVR mod feels like crap. Show me the frametime spikes while I'm still in the headset.

That's awesome! We really needed this. FPSVR was the best, but it only works with OpenVR. OpenXR users were stuck with Virtual Desktop's limited overlay, which doesn't even show VRAM usage, one of the most important metrics. Thank you!

@SadlyItsBradley Don’t laugh but actually yes..lol My kid is visually impaired. They usually have to take a screenshot and then send to their phone to read it.

@SadlyItsBradley Yes, that would be perfect. It would help in a game like No Man’s Sky, that is text heavy and there’s no options to assist. In many games you can’t just move closer to read something (ie Beat Saber menu).
