This demo is insane. A student shares their iPad screen with the new ChatGPT + GPT-4o, and the AI speaks with them and helps them learn in *realtime*. Imagine giving this to every student in the world. The future is so, so bright.

I met a tutor who had to sign an NDA to let the company use her work to train AI. They promised AI would just help and augment their work. They all just now got laid off. Now she can't find another job on her field other than to train more AI. I'm totally pro using AI in everything, but we can't keep overlooking at the real societal impact. Vague UBI conversations won't do unless we do something real about it. "You stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you could and, before you even knew what you had, you patented it and packaged it and slapped it on a plastic lunchbox." Throughout my MA+Phd studies, the ‘AI-child interaction in education’ that I have worked on will now become a part of everyday life Even 3-year-olds are learning just as well from an AI in a virtual environment as they do from a teacher in the classroom 👇🏽
