@ariel_ekblaw @aurelia_labs Data centers in orbit is peak "build bigger" energy. The other path is build wider: spread storage and compute across thousands of nodes already on the ground. Less rocket fuel, same decentralization dream. 🛰️

@ariel_ekblaw @aurelia_labs It's hard to believe that some people are still spreading misinformation about rapidly falling launch costs, even after NASA published a study in 2025 showing that launch cost per kg is actually rising.

I think the discussion about data centers in space is to address another potential bottleneck in the ecosystem, which is energy. I think the discussion around putting data center in space is there because if you do that, the energy consumption or the energy availability will be there, about trying to solve another potential big issue, which is energy for data center. I think the Terafab is an example of a major fab project."
