FSD 14.3.5 is now 0/2 on taking my exit for work. I took a video this time. The navigation shows that it should take the exit, and it will move over one or two lanes, but then it doesn't even attempt to put the blinker on and get into... show more

FSD V14 is incredibly hyper-aware. The moment the blinker comes on, it recognizes this isn’t just a normal lane change, but a risky move to cut across for the exit. It starts braking in just 0.25 seconds. No human can match that.

I was flabbergasted here. I didn't think it was possible for FSD to pass on the right on a highway. But it did it. 😳 I think navigation was set to take the next exit that was 0.5 mile away at the end of the clip. If it wasn't that exit it was the next.

Watch Tesla Full Self-Driving v14.1 attempt to drive into a parking lot through the exit lane, and then randomly park in the lane, forcing to take over. @ElonMusk is this really the version which feels "sentient"? nhtsagov should ban it now.

With FSD V14.3 and after, the car consistently moves into the right lanes 2.5 miles before your highway exit. As you can see below, the moment the car is under 2.5 miles from the exit, it turns on the blinker. I have been able to consistently repeat this. With previous versions of FSD, it would often wait until the last minute. No more anxiety from last second exit merging lol. (video sped up)

Red steering wheel incident. This is by far the worst thing I have had occur on FSD 14.2.2.4. I tried it three times and every time it failed. It was supposed to take a left and the left blinker was on, but it looks like it started to take a right and then it stopped, displayed the red starting wheel and told me to take over while I was pulled out into the lane.

Upcoming: On Saturday morning, January 6, travelers heading north on I-95 will see a new traffic pattern for Exit 38 (old Exit 23) for Route 146 and State Offices. The exit will move one mile south of its present location. Drivers should be prepared to take the exit sooner and must stay in the right lane as they approach Atwells Avenue, immediately after the downtown exit. Drivers continuing north on I-95 must stay to the left. Learn more about the upcoming changes:

🚨 One thing that has frustrated me with Tesla Full Self-Driving is that I find it will sometimes change lanes to overtake a car, but the lane it changes into either ends or goes against the navigation (for example, it will change into a straight lane when it needs to be in a turn lane) Inevitably, it has to get back over before the lane ends or to get into the correct lane, and it ends up in the same place it was initially. A good example:

i'm really enjoying 14.2, but i did ~80 miles of highway driving today and there's still pretty serious issues changing lanes on the model s, especially at night it will either do the lane change half way, then wobble back and forth for 1-2 seconds and bail, or take an insane amount of time to attempt at all in this video you can see my blinker was on (reflecting off the ground in the rear) for nearly 40 seconds with plenty of opportunity to change lanes and when it did, it hesitated which you can see. i took over to complete the lane change here

San Diego California resident shows the city just put in this very short bike lane on an 805 freeway exit It’s brand new, crosses the freeway entrance and exit, goes a short distance and then ends at a road not even open to the public It serves no purpose. Money laundering

I was impressed by the way Tesla FSD 14.1 headed straight for the highway exit after the construction zone ended, rather than making lane changes one at a time and missing the exit, starting around 0:45

Absolute SAVAGERY by mad max on V14.3.3 😂 We’re driving along the highway, and encounter traffic. We are supposed to be on the roadway I’m pointing at with an arrow a few seconds into the video. FSD knows from mapping that the Rt 1 exit allows an opportunity to re-connect with I-76 before it branches off into an exit lane, and to avoid a section of traffic, FSD decides to yeet the exit, blow by about 1/2 mile of the backup before muscling its way back onto 76. I had to mute the video because I was laughing like a psycho the entire time. So good. Mad max will get you where you’re goin man

Sentience FSD says “hold my beer” and shoots a 6-inch gap between a pickup and the guardrail to escape a blocked exit lane 😱 At 27 minutes in we’re trying to get over three lanes for the upcoming exit. Traffic slams the door shut, so instead of waiting like a peasant, Mad Max just invents a new lane on the right, threads the needle between a full-size pickup and concrete barrier at 65 mph, and pops out ahead of everyone who closed us out. Zero hesitation, perfect centering, no scrape. On 14.1.7 this would have sat there crying. 14.2 just sent it. Is this the most aggressive exit move FSD has ever pulled, or have you seen worse? All-Sight caught every pixel of that insanity.

This is the full clip. One reason I commonly intervene with FSD engaged is because it takes a long time to make a decision on when to get over into the correct lane for an exit or upcoming turn. The car in front did me no favors by braking for next to no reason with this truck beside me. However, FSD could have gotten over earlier just based on the congestion. I had fun with the maneuver but it’s not one I want to do too many times.

While taking my wife to work this morning Tesla FSD 14.3.2 decided to take us off the navigation and on a 3-minute detour of the Woodlands. But then as soon as my wife was saying something about the navigation snafu, FSD showed her what is truly important, as it avoided a car in the opposite lane of traffic coming into our lane while being a jackass trying to go around a school bus full of kids. My wife may not have been pleased with the 3-minute detour, but then Tesla FSD said "put some 'spec on my name woman!"

Ok, Tesla AI , 14.3.8 has some issues. This is the third time FSD keeps going straight on a turn only lane. It’s completely ignoring the road markings in regards to its navigation path, in regards to what is proper behavior in terms of respect to road priority and the other drivers, and in terms of legality. On top of that, it refuses to merge on the proper lane after this highway exit, not once but twice, as I ask it manually to do as it has always done automatically on previous versions. Merging already had issues, but this is IMO a serious regression and shows a lack of AI reasoning.

Still experiencing this issue daily ever since V11 was released. The car wants to take this exit when it shouldn't. Sometimes with a turn signal, sometimes without. Nav says go straight. Even in the right lane, it will try to take that exit daily as well. Elon Musk

Here is a minute straight of blinker on but no lane change Mike P. Even missed the exit. Mad Max on 14.2.1 has been neutered.

FSD is superhuman. I’m taking the highway exit and a truck is blocking the road. FSD signals and starts to overtake… until the truck suddenly pulls away again. FSD stays neatly behind it and sees a worker jump out. Before the truck has even come to a complete stop, FSD signals again and overtakes it. Incredible, how is this even possible?! 🤯

Qullamaggie Shows a 6 Star Setup on a 5 Star Scale “This thing, I traded on the stream. This is a 6 star setup on a 5 star scale. You know, you gotta f*cking memorize this. This is a 6 star setup on a 5 star scale. You don't get this many of these. Look at how tight it is. Bounces perfectly off the 20 day. It's really tight. This one I traded on the stream. Unfortunately, I wasn't really good at following my exit rules. And look at the move it made. Or no, I did follow my exit rules really well. I think I sold it somewhere here. Yeah, I did follow my exit rules. I think I sold it on this day when it closed below the 10 day. The first time it closed below the 10 day. And now you probably understand why I'm so excited for TSLA. Like I'm literally dreaming about TSLA. It's gonna be an enormous trade. It looks exactly like it. But it could also be a big breakdown, right? And then in that case, I'm gonna short it. But you know, this thing breaks out. It's gonna go to 2000. I’ll have a big, big position. You gotta memorize these things.”
