Still experiencing this issue daily ever since V11 was released. The car wants to take this exit when it shouldn't. Sometimes with a turn signal, sometimes without. Nav says go straight. Even in the right lane, it will try to take that exit daily as well. Elon Musk

I am seeing notable lane behavior regressions in 11.4.2 — hoping 11.4.3 fixes! Randomly will enter a turn lane on the right side of the road and then swerve back over into main lane, despite no navigation turns for miles. Also still seeing so much improper “changing lanes to follow route” behavior. I’ll have a left turn in ~4 miles and 2-3 times it just swaps me back and forth between lanes, only to get over in the last few tenths of a mile for the turn. Not sure if it’s map data or what. The car overall drives smoothly — it’s just making poor lane decisions. Otherwise love FSD Beta!

@elonmusk Damn! I have been driving semis for 20+ years. One thing everyone need to know is that semis require space! 80+k lbs at 50-75mph has significant physical properties that p-cars cannot match. Do not tailgate semis or cut in front of them after you pass them. 1/3

@elonmusk Is it possible this is the same issue as the turn into the left turn lane? It seems like it’s not recognizing that lanes are turning lanes instead of actually intending to turn.

Mine went from about 50% chance of following that construction line into the shoulder on the highway on 11.3.X to 99% chance in 11.4.X Also now gets in the wrong lane in a few places and in one place if I don’t immediately disengage with any traffic around me it would cause me to miss the highway on ramp because the road splits.

🚨 One thing that has frustrated me with Tesla Full Self-Driving is that I find it will sometimes change lanes to overtake a car, but the lane it changes into either ends or goes against the navigation (for example, it will change into a straight lane when it needs to be in a turn lane) Inevitably, it has to get back over before the lane ends or to get into the correct lane, and it ends up in the same place it was initially. Tesla autonomy has become so advanced that it behaves in an incredibly human-like way. When faced with being stuck in a right-hand turn-only lane when Robotaxi needs to go straight, it attempts to negotiate with a human, as in this video. In this case, I caught the man in the car next to us visibly shaking his head “no”—that happens when people will not let another person, or in this case a robot, into the lane where they need to go. So Robotaxi made the right decision and continued on, going around the block and then succeeding the next time around.

Here’s Tesla Europe, Middle East & Africa FSD taking on the worst Dutch car city: Hilversum. Had 2 semi interventions: didn’t disengage but had to make it go manually: 1. Nav was pointing straight but the car chose a right-only lane, forced a lane change indicator and gas and it readjusted 2. Roundabout w split lane failed: was supposed to go straight but hugged a right only lane, used gas manually and it readjusted 3. Small issue: It parked perfectly into a tight space but didn’t fully go into the stall It also seems to ignore the “I have right of way” when it comes to bicycles that have a clear yield sign. This makes sense for safety. I’m biased because I’ve been driving FSD for 7 years in the US. For people who have this as their first experience - minds will be blown. This is absolutely next level and all European car brands will suddenly realize how far behind they are. The future is autonomous and I can’t wait until this rolls out EU wide.

I was flabbergasted here. I didn't think it was possible for FSD to pass on the right on a highway. But it did it. 😳 I think navigation was set to take the next exit that was 0.5 mile away at the end of the clip. If it wasn't that exit it was the next.

This incident took place in Jodhpur. The embarrassing part of the video is that they forced the dashcam car to reverse so that the Creta (Mantri Ji's car) could take the emergency lane. Meanwhile, ₹55 was supposedly enough to help him survive a financial crisis. VIP culture is a never-ending issue, but at the very least, it shouldn't create problems for common people. Ironically, Mantri Ji’s car could have easily gone through the same lane without needing to pay that amount. Shared by Rawal

I’m really looking forward to these upcoming Tesla FSD updates: • FSD V14 “Lite” for HW3 owners: Can’t wait to try it, even as a daily HW4 user. It’s expected to release at the end of this month and include the same features as HW4 V14. • Pothole Avoidance: This will be very welcome, especially for Teslas with lower-profile tires. It will be a game changer for me. • FSD Remembering Your Parking Preferences: Elon Musk says future FSD releases will remember your parking preferences when arriving at a destination. Great for garages, work spots, etc. • Grok Voice Commands for FSD: Elon Musk says the ability to prompt FSD with language is coming within ~3 months. You’ll be able to use your voice to tell the car what to do or where to go. This will be incredibly cool. CANT WAIT.

This man finds it extremely aggravating when you are in a left hand turn lane and the car in front stops at the white line. He says you pull into the middle of the intersection and take control of the intersection and wait there. If oncoming traffic doesn’t let up, you turn as the light is about to turn red and oncoming traffic stops. Many said that defensive driving classes tell you to stay behind the white line until you can make a turn and have a safe exit and this causes accidents. He says that any CDL class will tell you to take control of the intersection and pull up to the middle of it, that way everyone isn’t waiting three rotations to get through the light. What do you do? How do you drive? Do you stay behind the white line or do you pull into the intersection?
