FSD v14.3.7 doesn’t proceed on an advanced green This is the first time ever (?) that I have had FSD sit at a green light at not proceed. What’s also interesting is you can see the turn signal turn on for a second and then turn back off -... but in the car the nav was 100% set to turn left. Any ideas? I can’t tell if they are actual emergency vehicles but I think maybe it saw the flashing lights of the trucks straight ahead and was stopping for them

Have had a similar issue on every single 14.3.X build I have received thus far, including 14.3.6 that I’m currently on, at this intersection right by my house

14.3.7 seems as scared as ever. But this makes sense... The more it learns the more it also learns the world is a scary place.

I have it for this frequently at advanced left's. I have to regularly give it a nudge with the accelerator. On the upside after the latest Nav update it obeys 40km/h zones finally

Same exact thing happened to me on a left turn arrow in Illinois. It was on 14.3.5 or 14.3.6. only happened once.

Yes I think that guy is right about the emergency lights but I do know I would have been scared like hell to press the accelerator because as we all know sometimes FSD sees things coming we don’t (I assume here you were VERY careful)

a few day's ago, 14.3.4, direct sunlight, red wheel and car turned on hazard lights, refuse to move when traffic light turned green

This behavior varies according to the drive mode, sloth, chill, standard, hurry or mad max. Generally the FSD is slow to jump out into the flow of traffic, but it will listen to a little nudge on the "gas" pedal and move on out into the flow.

Yes, there is specific traffic light in my city that confuses FSD. I’ve had a similar issue many times.

It’s like it decided it wasn’t in the left turn lane anymore. The signal turns off on its own then only turns back on once you force the move.

This build did not improve anything. Still won't go the speed limit, 60 in a 65, and forgot where my house is.

Never happened before but literally happened to me today twice! I assumed g there was a vehicle it had mistaken as a cop or ambulance but nothing like that around.

This exact scenario happened to me the other day on 14.3.6 and it probably represented the most serious intervention that I have had, which is really a testament to how good FSD has become because it isn’t that bad of a mistake.

Nothing like that for me on .6 which fixed most all the regressions I had with .4 and .5. Usually if it doesn't want to go at a green there is something it sees that may not be first apparent I've found. Oncoming traffic from the side that it may notice, emergency vehicle or something that "looks" like one. Etc. In this case as others have pointed out, the truck with all the blinky lights may have been making it think it was an emergency vehicle so possibly it was that. The car is very sensitive to those since 14.3.x dropped for sure. I do hope that eventually we may get reasoning notes enough to tell us why the car is actively doing something so we don't have to guess or assume as much for oddball things.

Had something similar on FSD 14.3.6. When the light turned green (not flashing green) the car started turning then slowed down to stop. No people, no emergency vehicles. I had a car behind me so I pressed the accelerator and it resumed.

Interesting behavior It looks like FSD recognized the planned left turn but may have hesitated because of uncertainty in the intersection. These rare edge cases are exactly where more data and software improvements help the system get better

Mine did this on a double left green arrow this week (v14.3.6). Navigation had us going straight instead of being in the turn lane, but it was too late to move over. I think the truck was going to sit there and wait for the normal green to turn and then switch lanes once the lane next to us cleared... but I obviously pressed the accelerator to force it into the turn because there were people behind us.
