Aluan Wang believes "all we really have left is process." He built inkField to capture the act of painting itself. It is a live system where you can draw, record your gestures, and watch the ink breathe. It is live for you to touch. ↓ ↓ ↓

There’s Only One. One community that turns potential into purpose, ambition into action, and where you become a part of something bigger. One place where doubt stops, possibilities are endless, and the work you put in becomes the difference you make. It’s more than a slogan or hand gesture. It’s our standard. Come see what ☝️ can do:

.Aaron Levie says AI agents may take years to diffuse from engineering into the rest of knowledge work. "The models are really good at code, and the work is verifiable." "You have 5 or 10 things that make agents work in an enterprise context for engineering." "The users are less technical, the data is much more fragmented, the systems are much more legacy." "That's why it's going to be a number of years for this diffusion to roll from what we're seeing in Silicon Valley, into the rest of knowledge work."

"The reward for great work is more work, and I find that saying that maxim to the right person, the kind of person I want to spend time with, their eyes go wide and they understand it immediately. That the reward for great work is not money, power, fame. It is the privilege to get to do more of this thing that I love doing."

Ramadan is a time for Muslims to slow down, reconnect, and remember what matters most – and then carry those lessons into the rest of the year. In that spirit, let's look ahead to the work that remains to ensure everyone has the rights and dignity they deserve.

Giving everyone a universal basic income will not reveal most people’s inner Mozarts or Emily Brontës. At bottom, this is about two competing views of human nature. One view holds that once basic material needs are met, people will use their free time to seek meaning and fulfillment. Unshackled from the burden of work, they will thrive. This is partly true. A small share of people would create, build, and explore. But for most, that is not what happens. When people are out of work, they do not spend their days painting or sculpting or learning another language. They scroll, they watch television, they play video games. Many advocates of UBI assume that people are simply waiting for the right conditions. Remove financial pressure, and they will pursue their creative passions. That may be true for a few. It is not true for most. Another view holds that meaning comes from the act of working. Earning your way, supporting yourself, and taking care of others provide structure and fulfillment. Effort, struggle, and self-reliance are not barriers to a meaningful life. They are part of what makes it possible. A society that removes the need to work risks removing one of the main sources of meaning in life.

Hot topic in vogue is what happens to systems of record in an era of 1000x more agents than humans. Aaron Levie has been the CEO of Box for 20 years and believes that systems of record become more important, not less, with agents: “Systems of record were built for a TAM of human employees. And that was sort of where the value maxed out at. And now maybe we'll have a hundred times more agents than people or a thousand times more agents than people. So I think on a relative basis, the agent layer will seize growth from zero to a trillion. But the system of record layer now has a thousand times more users on it that need to access data and need to execute a workflow and need to move things through various events. And importantly, you need as an enterprise to care about data integrity and security and the controls in your workflow and traffic copying the agents. So basically, this is where I am very diametrically opposed to the view that the system of record gets is squeezed into a database interaction layer because you actually need all of the core system of record properties for the agents to operate on.”

This is Flint Image 🔥 Still generating images one by one? Generate four images from a single prompt for 67% less than standard generation. Same quality. More options. One generation. The math speaks for itself. Try it now!

Mamdani: PTET is essentially a loophole that allows high-income earners to reduce their federal tax burden. Who benefits? Millionaires and multimillionaires. More than 95% of PTET credits go to those making more than $1 million a year. More than 80% go to those earning more than $5 million a year. The PTET, in short, is a tax cut for the rich. We are not calling to eliminate the credit. We are instead asking the state for a modest reduction from 100% to 75%—that change alone will generate nearly $1 billion in additional revenue, revenue we can invest in buses that carry New Yorkers to work, the public schools that educate our children, and the public parks and beaches where we spend our summers.

Chancellor Merz: We are trying to procure air defense systems from around the world that will be made available to Ukraine. Much of the procurement is also being handled by Germany and a European consortium. We see that Ukraine itself is now capable of building long-range missile systems that are even better than some of what we in Europe offered and discussed in earlier years.

The Searchers (1956) is more than a great Western. It is one of the greatest American films ever made. What begins as a search for a kidnapped girl becomes a haunting study of obsession, loneliness, and prejudice. John Wayne delivers the performance of his career, while John Ford fills every frame with images that have become part of cinema history. Nearly 70 years later, filmmakers are still learning from it. That is the mark of a true masterpiece.
