Gary Brecka just dropped a total paradigm-shifter while sitting with Barbara O’Neill and the room went silent… Brecka: “The parabolic rise in skin cancer is almost perfectly superimposable with the parabolic rise in sunscreen use.” O’Neill: “Exactly. Author Ian Whishart claims sunscreens themselves are causing basal cell carcinomas.” Brecka:...

I love Barbara O'Neill and have followed many of her protocols. However I cannot get behind her vilification of meat. With all these health gurus there is a need to take what you need and leave some of the stuff behind. Absolutely with her on the sun screen front.

I stopped wearing sunscreen a few years back and I rarely burn anymore. If I do it goes away the next day. I have fair skin, too. I don't wear sunglasses either. Has made a huge difference. Bc of the no wearing sunglasses my body tells me when to get out of the sun.

🚨 Exactly. And did you realize the same companies promoting sunscreen also are in the cancer industry? Yes, industry. It’s not a coincidence, very likely. And now with them blocking the sunshine through geo / climate engineering, it’s putting all of our health at risk again from double-jeopardy: reduced vitamin D and important mechanisms the sun’s energy activates within our bodies and the breathing in of the metals and chemicals used in that process of blocking the sun.

Theee years ago, right after moving to Belize, I stopped using sunscreen altogether, after hearing about this from @thegarybrecka. He’s been preaching this for a long time. I eased into the sun, without sunscreen, in Central America, increasing my time exposure, in addition to getting 30 minutes of red light every morning at sunrise. I didn’t burn. I felt AMAZING. There are no chemtrails in the sky there, either, btw. I’m 63. My profile photo is not filtered.

Interesting perspective, and it’s true vitamin D is crucial—but correlation doesn’t prove causation. Sunscreen prevents harmful UV damage, so moderation and smart sun exposure are key. Definitely makes you rethink the balance.

High dose vitamin D supplementation might be doing more harm than good. Stephanie Seneff, MIT researcher: Vitamin D is a signalling molecule, not a nutrient to megadose. It mobilizes calcium — but doesn't control where calcium goes. High dose vitamin D drives calcium into the arteries, leaching it from bones. A 3-year study comparing 400 IU/day, 4,000 IU/day and 10,000 IU/day found the highest dose group had statistically significantly worse bone mineral density. A 2006 study found that calcitriol supplementation (the active form of vitamin D) in young adults with kidney disease increased artery calcification — because calcitriol is taken up directly by cells in the artery wall. Artery calcification is one of the strongest risk factors for cardiovascular disease. An Indian study compared vitamin D supplementation to 20 minutes of daily sunlight in 100 men with severe deficiency. Remarkably — the supplement group had a larger increase in serum vitamin D than the sunlight group. Yet opposite effects on cholesterol: Sunlight group — cholesterol dropped. Supplement group — cholesterol increased. Why? Sunlight and vitamin D supplements take completely different routes through your body. Vitamin D supplements are fat-soluble. The liver has to synthesize cholesterol and release LDL particles just to transport them through the blood. Sunlight stimulates cholesterol sulfate synthesis directly in the skin. The sulfate component makes the molecule water-soluble — transported freely in the blood without being packaged inside an LDL particle. Because cholesterol sulfate is both water-soluble and fat-soluble, it can transfer from skin cell membranes to HDL particles or red blood cells and deliver cholesterol directly to tissues that need it. No LDL carrier required. When you get vitamin D from a supplement instead of the sun, you don't get the simultaneous increase in cholesterol sulfate. The pill doesn't just fail to replicate sunlight. It uses a completely different biological pathway. Seneff: "Vitamin D wants to be subtle. Get out in the sun." "People answer: oh yeah I know, vitamin D is important." "No. Not vitamin D. The sun.” Vitamin D is a proxy for sunlight exposure. The proxy isn't the mechanism.

OCTOCRYLENE: Readily absorbs through the skin at levels 14 times the FDA’s cutoff for systemic exposure. It is often contaminated with benzophenone, which is a known carcinogen. Octocrylene has wiped out whole coral reefs & schools of fish from chemical runoff. AVOBENZONE: Testing has revealed bloodstream levels 9 times above the FDA legal limit. Because Avobenzone is not stable, it must be paired with other ingredients that act as stabilizers to prevent it from breaking down in the sun. And for Vitamin D to transport Calcium correctly to the bones & not calcify within arterial walls & soft tissues within the body, the cofactor K2 must also be present in the diet or in supplement form. Imagine waking up tomorrow and discovering the #1 “heart-disease villain” you’ve feared for decades… might actually be the repair crew showing up to fix the damage. This 3:42 clip of Gary Brecka and Barbara O’Neill just broke my brain in the best way possible. Gary drops the line that made me hit pause: “Big data shows ZERO correlation between LDL cholesterol alone and heart disease. Zero. It only lights up as a marker when you have high triglycerides + Lipoprotein(a) + other factors.” Barbara O’Neill, smiling like someone who’s known this for years, quotes Dr. Malcolm Kendrick: “For the first time ever, a perfectly normal, essential body substance has been turned into a disease.” Then she paints the picture we’ve all been missing: Heart disease isn’t cholesterol “going bad.” It’s the same process as a cut on your finger healing — except the “cut” is inside your arteries from seed oils, heavy metals, mycotoxins, and blood-sugar spikes that shred the delicate glycocalyx lining. The wildest part? When scientists cut open plaques they scream “Look! Cholesterol!” But according to Kendrick’s “The Clot Thickens” hypothesis (which both Gary and Barbara love), most of that “cholesterol” actually comes from the broken-down membranes of red blood cells that died forming the clot — NOT from your eggs or steak. Gary even admits he now mouth-tapes every night because nose-breathing restores nitric oxide and his sleep scores went through the roof. This is NOT medical advice. This is two passionate humans sharing published hypotheses and personal practices that challenge 50 years of dogma. Watch the full 3:42 clip below and then tell me in one line: Did this conversation just change how you think about cholesterol — even a little? Save this post. You’re going to want to send it to someone. All views expressed are those of Gary Brecka & Barbara O’Neill, largely drawn from Dr. Malcolm Kendrick’s published books “The Great Cholesterol Con” and “The Clot Thickens.”
