I was in the GATE program as a child of the 80s. I remember hearing tests, the covered windows in the rooms but not much else. There is a heightened sensitivity in intuition in most of those who participated in the GATE program.

I just had an epiphany the other day & wondered why did we take those tests as kids ( i came to the conclusion that certain kids depending on how they “scored” were closely monitored and potentially subject to govt tests/programs)
