This is the key insight most 3D gen papers skip: you can't fix bad representation with post-processing. When your architecture forces a unidirectional causal bias, you're fighting the medium itself. Native spatial probability space + structured surface manifold = clean edge flows emerge naturally. 2s inference is just the cherry on top.

The problem is that none of the AI tools has production ready low poly option yet

Does img2img crop the image in a square? Tripo fully removed the legs from my character. hunyuan and meshy worked fine with it.

Sorry about that, definitely not expected behavior. It shouldn’t be hard-cropping like that by design. If you have the input/output, or a few more cases, feel free to send them over. Would love to dig in.

Here you go I didn’t run extra tests since each one costs 40 credits and I might want to test other things later. I also couldn’t find the option to view the model’s wireframe, which is useful before and after applying retopology.

One thing I liked a bit more in Meshy is that retopology doesn’t consume credits, but since you offer more credits for the same price, I think it balances out in the end.
