Today, police arrested me for nothing around Mile 3, took me into the police station. My car papers are all complete yet they asked why my papers had no engine number. I asked him from the papers he had in his hands, which state government did the registration of the car papers and he said the Rivers state government. I then asked him to call them and ask them why they went ahead to register a car without inputting the engine number. He got furious, ordered me to drive into their station. I then took out my phone and began recording. At this point he got more furious and said I had no right to record him. I reminded him the IGP had said we could record at will. Inside the station, I was handed to a superior officer who tried to gaslight me, tried reverse psychology, everything just to extort me. I told them clearly I will not give them any bribe and remained firm that I had done nothing wrong to be arrested. They changed it to appreciate the police. I told them again that you dont appreciate someone for wasting your precious time when you have clearly committed no crime. They met the wrong customer today. This MAGA no gree pay. After wasting my time with unnecessary long stories and childish intimidation, they let me go. It is the audacity with which they exhibit unlawfulness that upsets me.

I honestly thought that we were faster than we were. I think we need to look at our practice sessions because obviously it was very promising on Friday. We made, I think, a step in the wrong direction on Saturday morning and we didn't move from there. And the car was just very weak in the middle and the last sector. So we couldn't get close to the cars ahead. Soso ultimately, I think process-wise we can improve and then set up the direction that we took was wrong. But I think also the guys around us were really quick. We just needed to qualify quick.
