Creatine Monohydrate is STILL KING Creatine monohydrate (CrM) is the most effective supplement on the market & has decades of data & thousands of studies to back up its use. It is also the least expensive form of creatine on the market. If CrM is so effective why do companies keep trying to reinvent the wheel? I’ll let you in on a dirty little supplement industry secret, companies can’t make much money on CrM because it is so widely available that it drives down the price. So companies make ‘new & improved’ forms of creatine to justify charging you 2-4x more money. There’s only one problem… these forms are either less effective or only equally effective but cost WAY more One of the new forms of creatine that has generated a lot of buzz is creatine hydrochloride (CrHCl). CrHCl is more soluble in water & so the claim has been made that it gets absorbed better & you don’t need to take as much to get equal results. A recent study (PMID: 39545789) aimed to test these claims directly. The researchers split the participants into 4 groups who resistance trained (RT): RT + placebo RT + CrM at 0.03g/kg BW RT + CrHCl at 0.03g/kg BW RT + CrM at a loading dose of 0.3g/kg BW followed by a maintenance dose of 0.03g/kg BW At the end of the study all the creatine groups had better results than the placebo group, but NONE of the creatine groups had any significant differences from each other. Sorry CrHCl, you’re just another overpriced reinvention of the wheel to try to get people to spend more money so that supplement companies can pocket more Some people do get GI distress with rCM, in this case you can try splitting the normal 5g/day dose up into 2-3 smaller doses throughout the day & that will help Stick with tried & true CrM. It is inexpensive & very effective. That is why we use CrM in my Recovery product from @outworknutritionofficial (link in bio) because why would we charge you more for a less effective, more expensive product? This might be the best "AI Engineer" I've tried so far. I'm an old school developer who started 30 years ago. I feel very uncomfortable letting AI take control of my code, but for the sake of science, I spent two hours building an application that took me weeks to build a couple of years ago. I used Pythagora, a brand new tool backed by Y Combinator. They just released to the public. Keep in mind that I use AI every day to write code, but Pythagora is something different: it's a tool that leads, and uses you—the human—as the copilot. I go into more details in the video, but here is the TLDR; 1. Holy molly! We've made a ton of progress on this front! This is way better than Devin when I tested it a few months back. 2. Love the approach of generating a plan with sub-tasks before writing any code. 3. The tools never tries to do too much: it tackles every small task one at a time, and gives you instructions so you test everything. 4. It does exactly what you'd do when it gets stuck: writes a bunch of logs and uses those to correct itself. Pretty neat! 5. It's fast. It runs locally. It's an extension to Visual Studio Code. I'm impressed, but I don't think this tool is for me. I'm not the type of developer who's ready to relinquish control. I felt I had no connection with the code because I didn't write it. It was not my code. I know many people who don't care about this. I know many people who will get tremendous value out of Pythagora. I hope they keep pushing the limits, providing feedback, and helping this get to a point where old folks like me feel more comfortable using it. Don't take my word for it. The best thing you can do is to give it a try and see how you feel using it. Thanks to the team who built this, for all of the explanations and support, and especially, for sitting and listening to my dumb questions for 2 hours while I tested this.

Today, we’re launching Airpost. I’m 46. That’s not a cool age to found a startup. At least according to Twitter. I still call it Twitter. I’ve loved advertising all my life. Since I was 19 and my mom told me about a movie called “Nothing in Common” with Tom Hanks where he plays an ad exec whose main job seems to be shooting hoops with his creative partner. That sounded fun. Since then, traditional advertising has stayed… traditional. From my 1st job out of college writing TV ads for Snapple and Fox Sports, to leading product marketing at Airbnb, I’ve seen a lot. Now the AI era is here and an entire $1T industry is about to change. Who will change it? Why not me? Why not us? Introducing Airpost: a platform and service where world-class creative strategists use custom-built AI to build video ads. Fast. If you’ve ever sat down to make an ad with AI and realized 20 minutes later you’re still wrestling with that same clip… that’s why we built Airpost. Growth teams are busy. We’re funded by the best investors and humans we know. We bootstrapped our performance creative agency, Ready Set, to 200 people. I was always told VCs didn’t add value. We’ve gone from 0 to $1M ARR in the six months since we quietly started working with early clients like DoorDash, Dr. Squatch, Calm and more. So far, every customer has renewed.
