Getting my breast implants removed is the most feminine thing I’ve ever done. I filmed the pre-surgery vlog. Here’s what fifteen years with a foreign object does to a woman’s body. At nineteen, insecure and fresh off a crash diet, I asked a surgeon to fix me. Needed a...

I’ve been keeping something from you. The way I cope with hard things is by doing the work and putting the pain in a box. But the truth is—since I spoke out against insurance companies, things have been really hard. My practice is struggling. I built a surgery center so I could take better care of my patients, expecting to do my cases through insurance. But several insurance companies have refused to contract with me since I posted that video. The strain has been so heavy, I’m not sure I can keep the practice open in its current form. I’m sharing this because no insurance company should have the power to shut down a practice, especially one built to help people. All I want is to take care of my patients. All I want is to do the right thing. I’ve invested all of my time, money, and heart into this. And it’s dangerous—truly dangerous—that one or two insurance companies can make decisions that threaten the future of a practice like mine. I’m hoping that I can figure something out for the practice, but I just wanted to be honest with you guys because this is part of the reality of being a doctor. This isn’t the first time I’ve been here. COVID almost knocked me out. The hack, when I wasn’t paid for three months, was another blow. And now this—being punished for telling the truth. But I won’t be knocked out. I’m committed to telling the truth about healthcare, about insurance, and working to find a better way to continue to keep my practice open and taking care of women with breast cancer so I don’t lost my practice or my home. I promise I’ll keep you updated.

I was on my mission when President Holland gave his “Safety for the Soul” talk about the Book of Mormon. I remember feeling the fire, but that’s not the talk that had the most impact on my life. While I was a missionary, I discovered a talk he gave called “Within the Clasp of Your Arms.” He wasn’t an apostle at the time. I loved it, but it took many years for me to finally understand it. Most of my childhood was spent growing up with an absent father—visiting him in prison, seeing him get arrested, watching him live as a homeless alcoholic and drug addict, hearing him fight with my mom, or once even threatening to kick us out in the middle of the night. I have some good memories of him, but not many. Then I became a dad. At the time, I was serving as stake clerk and preparing for a stake priesthood meeting. Something reminded me of this talk (I assume it was the Spirit), and I decided to listen to it again. The talk finally hit me like a ton of bricks. The Spirit gave me, I think, the strongest and most loving rebukes I’ve ever received in my life. I was crying on my way to the meeting. I was crying during the meeting. I was crying while listening to my stake president speak—which, ironically, was about being good, loving fathers. I was crying after the meeting. Afterward, we (the stake presidency) met quickly to discuss the meeting, and my stake president, who had noticed all my crying, asked me to give the opening prayer. I never got to meet him, but this experience made me feel closer to him. I’m not a perfect father, and I wasn’t a bad father then. I just had some things I seriously needed to work on. I’ve tried my hardest to live by what I learned that day. I repent when I fail to meet that expectation. I love President Holland. I’m going to miss him.

PSA FOR ALL WOMEN ON THE BIRTH CONTROL PILL: I’ve been waiting to share my story until I felt like I had enough time to make my conclusion. It’s been 2 1/2 months since I stopped taking birth control. I had been on the pill continuously, having no periods whatsoever, for 18 years straight. That’s what I was told to do by multiple gynecologists, so I lived my entire adult life not really understanding all that “women business”… I also never questioned the pill, until now. You see, almost all girls my age at that time were put on the pill. It was normal, it was the “responsible thing” to do. I recently decided to get off the pill so that I could regulate my body before having a baby, but I had no idea how different I would feel getting off the pill. I’ve never been super anti-pill and I’m not necessarily now either, but I do want women to know that if you taking this your whole life, you may feel much different getting off of it. Maybe even BETTER (in my case) I’ve had two real cycles now and despite having to deal with a period again, I still would not want to go back on pill. It saddens me to think that I took it all those years thinking it had no impact on me. Now I believe, it did. I never really noticed drastic side effects but I think because I’ve taken it since I was a 15-year-old girl, having the pill in my system became who I was. I’ve noticed, and so has my fiancé and others around me since stopping the pill that I feel much more grounded, trusting of myself, and WAY less anxious. As someone who struggled with chronic anxiety, pure OCD, and mood issues my entire life, I wonder how much of this is attributed to the pill. I feel like young girls are told that it is their burden to carry, or that they need it because God forbid if they have a kid their whole life would be ruined. I’ve never questioned how detrimental the pill would be to my mental health, and now I’m starting to feel a bit regretful that I didn’t investigate this sooner. It’s really a personal choice and I hope that more women wake up to the possibilities that are outside of the pill. I wanted to wait for a while before I made my conclusion and I really do feel much different. Ladies, have you gotten off the pill and did it change your life for the better?

A wrestling accident nearly 9 years ago, put me in a wheelchair activating the most painful disease known to mankind. 7 of these years I went undiagnosed. I was trapped in that wheelchair! Only pain and sadness, no hope! I wanted to die! Years passed, Without any answers, I was imprisoned in my own body as I just sat. I would roll my chair to a window and watch the sun rise and set. During this time I put on a lot of weight. Battling my disease undiagnosed going without pain treatments, I was trapped in my body. the medical community abandoned me! So I took it upon myself to learn how to walk again without the aid of a rehab facility and without the aid of pain pills. no weight loss surgery, no shots, no pills, all organic and 100% blood sweat and tears!! My disease is still active, but I’m still fighting. My body is different, after all of these battles! I now have scars to prove my story… I live in a very cosmetic based business…I’ll never be able to have plastic surgery due to my health conditions… So now, people ask me how I found the strength….how have I done all of this as I battle the most painful pain known to mankind, how did i do this?? The truth?? I really I had no choice!! I was going to die or fight! I fell in love with professional wrestling. I wasn’t going to let MY sport kill me! I refused to die in that chair. If wrestling was going to take me out! It will be in that ring! With the help of God…I’m walking, smiling and soon wrestling a full match! This is wrestling with CRPS! Are you watching?

If 4yrs of being a biohacking guinea pig led me to this day. I’d do it 10X over. After 15yrs of being told I needed rotator cuff surgery, the pain is gone through this unexpected procedure. No surgery. @drjgandhi changed everything: He never promised to fix my shoulder. He simply showed me what was happening in my body by examining my teeth. What he removed from my jaw—metal, toxins, hidden issues—was shocking. The result was immediate. That’s not a claim. That’s a FACT from me and me alone. Before the procedure, I did acoustic therapy at @protocal4. After the procedure I did the same exact therapy w 3X the pressure. I’ll let the video speak for itself. Then the additional data came back from the lab on what he pulled out of me. And I was shocked I found out that I have a strain of Lyme disease in my jaw. I’ve been tested for Lyme 5X and it was never found. Also a rare parasite and heavy bacterial load, all found in my jaw. Now I can target exactly what’s in my system to kill. Before this, I would’ve been treating symptoms while the root cause remained. This wasn’t just a procedure, it was a wake-up call. We need more professionals willing to challenge outdated thinking and look at the body as a connected system. If you’re not getting answers, start asking different questions. You have to be your own advocate. Thank you Gary Brecka - Videos, Tips & Lectures (Fan Page) and @sagebrexka for turning Heather John and I on to Dr Gandhi. And thank you Dr Gandhi and all the biological dentist for having the open mind to challenge the way dentistry has been done forever. Take care of yourself. - The Longevity Shark

Mental Health Motivation today courtesy of me and Rondé Barber. So here’s the deal gang, 5 years ago, I was stuck in one of the darkest, most painful periods of my life. The dark gray got so bad I wasn’t thinking sensibly to the point where I would go to sleep at night hoping tomorrow wouldn’t come. This was well before I ever talked publicly about my depression, anxiety and mental health issues or wrote my book Unbreakable about it. So for the first time I did something I now implore alllll of us to do when we are hurting. For the first time… I FINALLY called my boys (my teammates in life) and told them how much pain I was in and that I needed help. I was heading to Tampa for the Super Bowl and the day before I left I called this man, Ronde Barber and two of our other friends Ben Heldfund and Brian Rhattigan and told them I needed to meet up down there because I was going through something. At first they couldn’t because they already had plans but then I communicated much more directly and said, “No, guys I NEED to meet, I AM STRUGGLING… BADLY!!!” All three immediately dropped their other plans and said, “What time and where? I got you!” I GOT YOU Their reaction changed everything for me that day. I think it was the first time I ever really truly told friends about my mental health battles in detail. I didn’t hold back. Didn’t try to wear a mask anymore and hide my pain behind the mask of a huge personality. I was real with them. Their reaction changed my life. Showed me the power of “I got you!” And showed me the power of opening up and leaning into my teammates. Folks, since I’ve opened up it’s turned friends into brothers and sisters. And those bonds will be the same bonds there for us now, in 5 years, 15 years, 50 years. Safety in Vulnerability was the greatest gift they could have given me. So I want to implore ALL of you… LEAN INTO YOUR TEAMMATES!!! I will do ANYTHING for my teammates. Ronde, Ben, Brian… thank you! I got you too!

3 Weeks ago today it was announced I was no longer with FanDuelTV. For practical reasons and quite honestly, emotional ones, I stayed off Social Media since then. However, during that time friends would forward me some of the incredibly kind posts so many of you made. I’ve now had a chance to look through all of them, and I’m humbled and grateful to my core. Also, many of you ‘slid into my DMs’, each of you will be getting a response from me. Thank You. When you give 26 years and 8 months to something, it is heartening to know that dedication was appreciated by those you worked alongside and those who watched and listened. My greatest reward has always been the immensely talented people I’ve been privileged to work with and the viewers I’ve been able to connect with. In a Sport that leans heavily into stats, Two significant numbers for me during my time at TVG/FanDuelTV are: *1,022,434 Miles Flown *2,112 Hotel Stays When you fly enough miles to circumnavigate the World 41 times, spend nearly six years in Hotel Room stays, not to mention the countless miles driven; all in pursuit of Broadcasting the amazing Sport of Horse Racing, you can’t do it without the Love, Support and sacrifice of your Family and Friends. It is why I understand as John Mellencamp once wrote: “My Family and Friends are the best thing I’ve known, through the eye of a needle I’ll carry them Home…” And through all the travels and the Broadcasts, an amazing blessing happened; I got to meet many of you, the TVG viewers. This has given me more friends than I could ever imagine. On-air you’ve learned some of my Life’s Story and when I met you in-person I was privileged to learn yours. The viewer has always been my North Star, and making a connection with you through all the Broadcasts or in-person has been the reward of a Lifetime. It is that connection that will never go away, it will always be. I never liked to look back at a Broadcast I was on and critique how I felt about it. To me, that was always up to the Viewer. There have been innumerable moments we have shared together, but there are Two I’m asked about the most: One, wrestling Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. (Which is a phenomenal behind the scenes story I’ll tell one day.) Two, is my Closing Words for the Final Day of Racing at Hollywood Park. Whenever I was given the responsibility to do a Close to a show, there was never a script, it was ideas I’d write and then try and present in a way all the shows I worked on would be; a conversation with you. In other words, I always got to speak from the Heart. I speak from the Heart now when I tell you how grateful I am for all the years I’ve had a platform to speak with you on TVG. In lieu of an on-air Goodbye, I believe that day at Hollywood Park covers all the sentiments I feel now and about this ending. (I’ve attached it to this post.) With one caveat, this is not goodbye forever, it is goodbye for now. I’m going to take a short break from Social Media, but I will re-join the conversation about the World of Horse Racing which has been my Community since I was a teenager, in short order. To that point, my next on-air appearance will be with my Broadcast Family LEX News for KY Oaks and Kentucky Derby a role I’ve enjoyed for 18 years. Beyond that, we’ll see. Most importantly, our connection will endure. And for all you have given me, I can only hope I’ve been worthy of your time. In the end time is our greatest Gift and my time at TVG has left me with nothing but immense gratitude - Todd T. Schrupp
